This video is a review of the Bissell air320 air purifier evaluating its airflow, pre-filter, HEPA filter, carbon filter, energy efficiency, noise output, and value.
We also compare it to the air320 Max, the air220 and the MYAir at 3:28.

I just now purchased this model on Woot for $119.00. At that price I’ll take all the cons with it. I love Bissell products so getting this model at what I believe is a good value price is fine by me. This one is going in the home office where I hang out most of the day with 3 dogs, so it’ll work great for there.
I’m actually here because I also just scooped it on woot - it’s $79 now. How has this unit been working out for you so far?

Just bought one for 99 euros and for me thats a really good deal considering the cons too I definitely wouldn’t have bought it for 460 it is in Europe. But for my living room I wanted something that looked nice and this fits in perfectly it even matches the routers so it kinda looks like some big speaker lol. For my bedroom ill def go with a more value buy 👍🏼

got the family to buy the Winix 5500-2 and a week later the AM80(uses the same filter) because of this guy's recommendation. these things are a god sent...they take care of the marijuana (and god knows what else) smoke that seeps through the vents. neighbors have no regard for decency to take their crap outside. so, thanks for putting these videos out. eternally grateful

@@Aviation2016, most varieties smell like skunks which most people find deeply unpleasant... And for people sensitive to smells (migraineurs and similar) it can be a trigger. If you live in an apartment, it's your obligation not to inflict your behavior on others. Enjoy your THC/CBD all you want, but choose a form like edibles or vaping.
I watched your videos and decided on buying the winix 5500-2. I just had some concerns with buying things on amazon, since there were times where the products were counterfeit or not as good quality. is there any way to grantee the authenticity of the purifier and filters if I buy them on amazon ? I'm assuming your link that you post in your descriptions in the right one for the winix itself , I was just curious about the filters .
Do HEPA filters have standardized sizes? Are there any manufacturers where I'm not locked to their own HEPA filters?
HEPA filters do not have standardized sizes. Each model air purifier has filters with unique dimensions. You only have the option of buying name brand or third party replacement filters. Using the latter option is cheaper but usually voids your warranty.

But what you did not compare was the cost of the replacement filters. Bissell filters bought right from Bissell are cheaper than the filters for the Winix 5500. Bissel offers bundle packs filter for under $55. Runs 10% off sales a lot. That being said the Bissell over all cost is better than Winix.. BTW that front fabric prefilter can be changed out to a plastic filter. Bissel sell the replacement plastic grill fronts for $29 or if you want to the fabric one can be replaced for $39. The plastic can just be wiped down or vacuumed off and offer longer use life over the fabric.

At first glance, it looks like a stripped down Winix.
It would've been a decent recommendation if the price point wasn't as high.
This retails for $330.00. I believe the price you mentioned is for the Bissell 220, not 320.

@@CelestialTrailblazer if you're really looking for a super mega ultra purifier, get IQAir HealthPro series. It'll cost you almost 1000 bucks, but it's hospital grade and even beats the HEPA H14 standard.
I feel like the carbon filter should go before the HEPA filter. Why do some manufacturers do it this way?
I agree and I really don't know why. Putting the carbon filter in front of the HEPA filter greatly increases the lifespan of the HEPA filter.

The XQ doesn't have a very good CFM to price ratio - it outputs at approx. 430 CFM but retails for around $600. It's also not very popular, so at this point it's unlikely I'll test it for review.
