Locomotive consist:
CP 9359 - GE ES44AC - CP System Red w/o beaver
KCSM 4891 - GE ES44AC - KCSM Belle
KCSM 4540 - GE AC4400CW - Grey Ghost
This crossing is located on the CN Yale Subdivision.
Bell sequence: Bells ring until gates rise.
Horn setting: Quiet zone.
Signal on the left: A Safetran base, a Safetran gate mechanism with RECO LED gate lights, 2 pairs of Safetran 12x20'' lights with GE Uniform Look LEDs and a low-tone Siemens electronic bell.
Far median signal: A Safetran base, a Safetran gate mechanism with RECO LED gate lights and 2 pairs of Safetran 12x20'' lights with GE Uniform Look LEDs.
Near median signal: A Safetran base, a Siemens gate mechanism with RECO LED gate lights and 3 pairs of Safetran 12x20'' lights with GE Uniform Look LEDs.
Signal on the right: A Safetran base, a Safetran gate mechanism with RECO LED gate lights, 2 pairs of Safetran 12x20'' lights with GE Uniform Look LEDs and a General Signals Type 2 electronic bell.
After catching a couple of trains on the western outskirts of Chilliwack, I headed into town. First, I went over to this crossing to wait on the next train. Didn’t have to wait long, as CPKC 301 shortly came rolling through Chilliwack with a CP ES44AC leading, a KCS ES44AC trailing, and a KCS Grey Ghost AC4400CW working as mid DPU.
Since my last recording of this crossing back in 2018, there have been no changes to the signals whatsoever.
