The standard XB60 ESC looks just like the 1060 ESC from HobbyWing (also the drag break setup look the same), but the drag break of 1060 is a little bit awkward------it always apply 100% break force without a smooth delay, and that could be dangerous when driving down a steep slope. I think the 1080 ESC might be a better choice for crawling.

As for holding the body I used these custom made front and rear holders "MST CMX CFX Jeep Wrangler YJ Tamiya Body mounts set for Hardbody RC 1/10" of ebay, you may know that chech guy in Prague?

Awesome kit, your detailing of the body is great, I love Jimnys I've off roaded the real thing. Such a shame though that the manufacture's still attach nice bodies with pins and R clips and make holes in the bodies.
can you tell me why rc cars don’t come in metal bodies and chassis? if only they do, would be so much more realistic and scale with its weight. accelerating slower and longer braking distances and more body roll, slower also easier to control and fun to watch.

Yes, the Drag BRAKE is harsh and non adjustable. Still, good for bog stock!

Most brands use the HW 1060 and re-brand it.

I always wondered where MST are made? I know most Tamiya Models are made in Japan 🙂. Like the CC-01
MSTs are made in Taiwan (China)

But you have to know: Tamiya have a big facility on the philipines, and many of their kits are made there.
