Besides domesticated cats, basically all animals were domesticated for the food they could provide. We don't think of it now, but the first evidence of domesticated dogs in Siberia were raised as livestock either partially or fully. Domesticated horses in the steppes have long been raised for meat and their mares milk drank and fermented. Then obviously goats, sheep, cattle, pigs and chickens were raised for meat. One domesticated meat animal not much considered now but very important historically was pigeon.
Considering all you mentioned above Beaver would not be a great food source after being domesticated.

Yeah I'm pretty sure any one of those people can tell you why beavers were not domesticated. An obsessive compulsive animal with a relatively slow turnover of generations and excessive space needs that involve altering the natural landscape in massive ways. Yeah these are not animals that are well suited to fences or limited space. It's possible for creatures to be less compatible with domestication, but not easily. Also keep in mind that European beavers are especially difficult compared to American beavers from what I've heard.

I'm sure there are some, but generally the ones that need to advertise like this are often of questionable quality. Like various free-to-play mobile games whose gameplay dynamics and mechanics complexity differ markedly (and I'm phrasing this politely) from real games, the kinds of games that are not free to play, and which are fun to play.

I'm not disputing that their fur was valuable, but medieval Christians were also allowed to eat beaver on the many fish days, since it's obviously a fish, even though from a culinary perspective, one might be tempted to use words such as "red" and "meat".
