Really enjoyed this podcast. Always a pleasure hearing Rich! I just have a one tiny complaint about the editing of video: When Rich is talking about his work on New York times, it would have been really helpful for the viewers if the editor can show that work and also there's a bit too many cuts which makes the video a bit jarring to watch. Other than, This podcast is awesome!
I'm pretty new to the dev world but as I'm learning, I've never had some things click for me the way they have recently. The power to build my thoughts is kind of like a freedom. Glad I found this channel. You guys rock.
Just found this while searching for how to build my sveltekit aws amplify website with adapter. I guess i didnt figure that out but found this and was pretty cool. Sounds like this rich guy is big svelte guy and everyone seems to love him. Thats good
I like to cut out filler words and false starts to make the audio flow better. Seems like I was a bit heavy handed this time! Will keep in mind for future eps. Thanks for listening ❤️
So you think it would be better it it were 10-15 minutes longer and the only difference is that the guest say uh.um, or Stumbles over their words more?
@@devtoolsfm Scrolling through the comments, i seem not to be the only one bothered by it. Cuts mid sentence like that are just really hard to watch for some people. I just feel like unless you have a serious problem with speaking, the amount of ums, pauses, little stumbles in a conversation should be managable and make it feel more natural. At least much less irratible than multiple mini cuts like that in the middle of a sentence. Maybe it depends if you watch or only listen IDK. All I can say is that when I watched this this morning it bothered me enough to leave this (kind of anoying ill be honest) comment earlier today. But I gues its just personal preference
Rich is certainly one of the most interesting people in tech today

Just found this podcast, will definitely be listening from now on. Excellent interview!
Thanks! Means a lot ❤️
Thanks for the editing! It's really helpful that all the unnecessary pauses are removed.

@@devtoolsfm Don't think it's heavy handed. I appreciate the time savings!
I actually thought you had one of those video editing AIs do it automatically
@@vinhtrinh9662 and AI Is def helping out a little! I do guide it though
