I was in Istanbul a few years ago with my wife, enjoyed the Galata Tower, Hagia Sofia and the Blue Mosque. Have you been to the cistern, it has ancient columns with a couple of Medusa heads supporting two of the columns. There are lots of fish swimming round in the dark, if you take a picture of the water using flash you can see them better. We also spent a couple of weeks in the mountains and found the people really friendly. Enjoying your videos, bringing back lots of good memories. Ride safe.

Maybe riding between a car and the railing at 70 kph is not always a good decision? 'Lane splitting' is illegal where I live. Besides that, car drivers here don't know how to accommodate motorcycle riders and bikes so doing that will get you killed quick. Ride safe and your videos are excellent! Thanks.

Frankly, the way you weave in and out and through traffic, and split lanes all the time, I'm surprised you've gone so long without a serious accident. When I was there in 2018 the tower was so packed that I didnt ever climb it. I passed by it at least 4 times in the 14 days I was in Istanbul. Always a ridiculous line. I decided to spend my time exploring other things.

I totally agree with these comments. Your are not a defensive driver at all. Here in Canada you would have lost your life or license for sure because of your dangerous riding. I’m sorry. It happens to the best of us. Unfortunately. The important thing is how we deal with it. Keep calm, fix if needed, learn the lesson and carry on. This seems to be a motto in the Bakan states like Bulgaria, so no problems. Just glad nobody seriously hurt. Things can be fixed. And another example of the great help from the motorcycle community and Turkish hospitality. Looks like we will make our Greek trip happen next week. Only Boris can stop us now...
