I am super impressed on how dispassionate Ann is about the work at hand. Lennie Gooding leaves a lot to be desired as an interviewer since she interjects her ego, opinions, and perceptions that have little or no place as to the work that Ann has consistently done. We have to filter through Lennie's cumbersome personality to get to the meat of what Ann has accomplished. Lennie is so full of herself that it can at times prevent the a sense of being true to Elena Ferrante's book.
What a gem. Such a humble translator
Brilliant. Woman’s mind in action, plural. I learned so much. Thank you all! GH
