First, Mr. Hopps is obviously using his demonic powers of illusion/voice mimicry to mimic Ruby's mother voice. Secondly, the clues and the lore to the slingshot are in the tapes. Did you bother reading the lore?

Honestly... The old version is better in my opinion because the further you got in the game the scarier the jumpscare was also sam missed the fnaf reference. In the safe if you type 1987 you eould get a GF jumpscare

I think that though this remaster is good, one thing that's a little disappointing is the jumpscare screen is always the same by the looks of it, in the original I swear I remember it slowly changing as the game progressed.

Well Sam when the ogrinal game came out it WAS a certain something that would've got ya demonintized but it was changed, not only here but in the ogrinal game too! My head cannon for it being a slingshot now is that ruby did something bad with it and got it took away.
That was probably because in the first version it was an gun in the safe but was later on changed to the slingshot & the tapes said it was locked up cause Ruby kept fing it to attack Mr. Hops
I feel like the change to a slingshot works better with the graphics update

I've noticed this in your videos but in games could you stop skipping phone calls or other important lore related content as what if we want to hear you understand the lore or if we the audience want to understand your interpretation of it like in a new fnaf game we want to understand the story but we can't play the game so we watch your videos and we want to hear the full phonecalls but because you keep skipping phone calls we can't fully enjoy the experience. I'm not trying to be rude but as a fan i just wanted to let you know that people who enjoy the story of games like me are kinda disappointed. Also in the video when you got the slingshot i think in the original version of the game it was a gun but probably got replaced for 2 possible reasons 1.the devs wanted this to be more kid friendly or 2.since this game possibly takes place in the U.K i think it is illegal to own a gun so in order to fit with the setting they replaced the gun with the slingshot. Sorry if this is taking to long.
