The Best Heer sung by anyone I have heard so far. They should have gotten it recorded on IMAX under the supervision of professional directors. A classical case of Gem that is not polished becasue there is no direction from professional directors. It could look a lot more appealing and entertaining under the supervision of professional directors. Hope someone tells them.
Please listen to the version by the great Tufail Niazi. He practically compiled all the folk music of Punjab and presented it to the world through Radio Lahore and the Pakistan Television. The guy was from a village near Shaam Chaurasi (Tehsil of district Jalandhar) and belonged to the khandan of Pakhawajis who played in the gurudwara's. You'll love his version too.
