@@fishkrazed I stumbled across it on Amazon Japan, CDE35 is the model ID. It's listed for $21.72 so I haven't bought one yet. Yen is down now, so I guess the bait is just priced high there (maybe exotic, I'm not sure how popular Rapala is in Japan overall, but I know trout anglers there are well aware of both the countdown and the elite versions' effectiveness). There are more Japanese trout lure colors that aren't available in the other sizes in the US (lots of yamame or iwana iterations). I'm not sure if those colors are available in the other sizes overseas as well.

We trade out after every catch usually, if he’d ever post on TH-cam he’d have his catches up! LOL. That was a good day though. Similar lures, I think 5 double ups between us. Thanks for checking it out man 🤝🏼🔥
@FishKrazed That's how me and my buddy fish the streams. Whoever catches the last fish is in the back, then keep switching on every catch. Now whenever we're in his boat he's a spot hog for sure lol... great day of fishing despite the cold start!

It did. It’s the diawa kage in the 1000 size. Super smooth reel!
What size line do you use to fish this lure?
I’m running 6lb line right now with zero issues!!
What gloves are you using?
The fish monkey half finger Wooly! Love em. Even if they get wet they still kind of keep you warm.
the rod what you use and size of rapal
I’m using a 6’ ultra light rod, 6lb flouro carbon, and the rapala is the 55 size. It works great!
