Peacekeeper got some recovery buffs and feels smoother to play now however shes practically useless in 4v4 still. With no real opener for externals, you just sit there waiting for the punishment of god for playing fh. I'm brand new, I've played for....3 days and I've been maining her in breach....I didn't not know she was so bad in 4v4....practice till I'm super good ig...especially parries....God I can't parry...and I need to learn her moves
Building off that she could also benefit from a guardbreak deflect like zerk, with her lower damage I feel like if it only guaranteed two of her gb lights instead of 3 would make a nice mixup to her 1v1 and even 1v2 situations
An idea I’ve had for ages is a feat where whenever she lands a heavy she gets rid all the bleed damage amassed on a target by dealing all the bead damage stacked on top of her heavy, it say as an example a person has 10 hp and 20 hp that is bleeding she would deal her normal heavy dmg as well as dealing that 20 stacked on top of that killing the person and getting an execution
I feel so helpless in team fights with her because of the majority of the people I fight in groups are external focus on me and since she doesn't have and openers, I have to contribute by attacking an enemy who is already being attack by one or two of my teammates or standby until I see an opening. I love her fashion and I really like the assassin aesthetic, so I feel bad that she doesn't have enough to be meta. The games that I had with her were not the best but I wouldn't say they were the worst either
Yeah you really have to play incredibly methodical or you'll just lose health so fast. I love the assassin aesthetics too but theres not enough for me to pick her especially in solo que.
It was never her play style to be offensive, she reach across the map so you punish, peel and prepeel the enemy. Her new recoveries are meant to do that, to allow her to punish and get away safe.

Here are some changes I think PK need if Ubi decide to buff or rework her: - She can dodge cancel out of any bleed stabs, like from her 3 stabs after GB, Light follow-up (bleed) after heavies, which can help her be more slippery in 4v4. - She can chain into heavy finishers after dodge-attacks and any bleed stabs so she can immidiately apply pressure with Unblockable mix-ups after applying bleed. - Add a Heavy-Light-Heavy chain. - Either remove Reflex guard or buff it to be able to deflect Unblockable (can also buff other Assassins).
As a pk main. Well I do like the added recovery time, she still lacks in several key areas and situations that most characters dont even deal with. She can be good and then the next match she can be completely useless

I was thinking a good way to make her viable while not changing her playstyle would be to give her a new unique Tier 2 feat: Serrated Edge: Chip damage is increased by 50%, and converted into bleed damage. This would instantly make her more viable in team fights. Giving her access to her unblockables a lot more often, and since the damage would now be bleed, it wouldn't feed a whole lot of revenge. And as a reference, Punch Through doubles your chip damage, so I think 50% would be a nice little touch while not making it overpowered for a tier 2 feat. In most instances, it'll only grant you an extra 2 or 3 damage anyways.
I like adding more chip damage since its not too oppressive, but i think an easier way to make her more viable would just to make her soft feint top light unblockable. Would keep her kit the same, and have external preassure like zhanhus unblockable light. Probably not as good but if they dont parry it, she can access unblockables and enhanced lights.
There is times I have prospered with Pk in dominion recently, but two Medjays grabbing me in staff form while the other guy in the 1v3 stun locks me is frustrating. But still, it feels better, plus the deflect doing medium hit reaction does a lot better for her
As someone who lightly mains PK (I’m rep 13 with her) I find that these buff changes were good and help me ever so slightly when I get ballsy enough to try and win a 1v3 (which usually ends in them being very low maybe one is killed but they are left to clean up) for me personally that bleed was a big part of my play style and is what actually made me sometimes win a 1v3 especially when I put the bleed with attacks on but since the bleed took a hit and I think is 10 damage less now (from 30-20) I thought it wouldn’t make much of a difference but it does… I find it horrid actually I can’t delete another assassin as quickly anymore TLDR: as a PK main I find the changes to help me a bit the bleed hit feels terrible because of my play style almost makes her less viable for me in dominion and made me stop playing the character completely
PK main here. I found out that you can get a double deflect punish off of Raider double heavies. He doesn't flinch on the first one and now deflect is faster, you don't eat the other heavy. Great change, but I still think they should make it interrupt everything like Orochi. She is still lacking everywhere and is not a threat at all, especially when getting ganked.
Such a nice to watch and cozy video, and that coziness is beaten with a stick and degraded when I watch this man use PK's splat punish for her OOS throw
I would love if they gave her deflect the ability to break through hyper armor like Orochi and Shinobi. Maybe some sort of bash as well to give her more viability in ganking situations :D
As a PK main, my major issue that as an assassin she needed to quickly deliver kills when unchecked, but she frequently takes a lot of time to dispatch someone and then another enemy will join and now you can't handle 2v1. Other assassins can kill enemies faster, but PK feels like I'm hitting foes with a wet noodle. Every buff is appreciated, but it doesn't solve the issue. Her damage is lower than usual (I even agreed that 30dmg for a Bash punish was harsh), but I feel like I have to play pitch perfect to match a random Lawbringer or Gryphon and that feels like bad design.
Also, I agree with you that they are fine tuning her with minor changes for a future rework. Looking forward to it, although I don't want them to change her play style too much (like removing the bleed component of it).
My highest rep is PK. If you can isolate someone then they are probably dead, but if there's two or more enemies I have to work harder than anyone else to get damage in. It's doable, but really difficult. The dodge changes have been much needed for a long time. Hopefully they drop needing bleed to get her unblockables and just make it so her chain finisher heavies are unblockable. I don't think that's too much.
Work the zone attack in there. Alot of people think it's useless but if executed properly followed up with the proper attacks it can and will be very useful.
im on a for honor break right now. i saw vids about valk and jorm reworks and heard about pk changes. i got excited so i searched for a vid explaining those changes. tbh: it's better than nothing but i really thought they did more.
The insane GB punish was the only thing that kept her head above water, it was busted for sure however rest of her kit isnt exactly good. I know it is 33 that people keep bringing up but the toothpick dmg that loses majority trades doesnt mean much in the long run. Her punishes overall are pretty trash, honestly one big thing she needs is to have higher starter heavy dmg so if you catch a light or someone off guard with that no property heavy, it actually does more than tickles. She doesn't need to be dodge recovery hero imo however her deflect probably should either break hyper or have her deflect be only move with actual dodge recovery cancel

I played peacekeeper recently in comp duels to get the ornament i wanted, got it first win, fixed my fashion, and no i will no longer be touching her :)
Number 1: in ganks, a fellow peacekeeper MUST rely on incompetent beings called teammates Number 2: Playing peacekeeper against heroes with infinite light chains and full blocks is frustrating, as everything feels like a 50/50 even before the enemy started attacking (it starts in that time in wivh you or the enemy has frame advantage) Number 3: As much as i hate to say it, all of peacrkeepers helmets are ugly and they ruin the fashion Number 4: An enemy or multiple enemies may not feel any kind of pressure unless they leak. This is a problem once the peacekeeper gains revenge ( after 50 parried attacks and 12 undodgeable bashes ) as her damage output lacks, too. Number 5: a warlords light shall deal more damage than peacekeepers heavy opener. In some peoples heads, this is considered balance and may not be doubted as it wont change anything Number i lost track: peacekeeper lacks teamfight capabiltities. This is due to her earlier mentioned bleed mechanic and the fact that she has no defensive abilities. Number idgaf no more: all heroes may experience mental frustration when fighting the worst animals out there: Lightspammers. Though every lightspammer is extremely frustrating to fight, nobushis and kyoshins top all of them heroes by a few notches. I frames on a bash follow up thats 533ms? Why not? A full block and a chain of 3 light attacks? Why not! And dont forget yo make the last two practically undodgeable and make every bash of his that isnt going to be used anyway unpunishable like Black Priors. Makr every opening a 50/50. Heck yeah, thats how to fix a game. But make sure you cant gb anyone out of a dodge attack and add 3min of I frames to kyoshin to make sure he can dodge a heavy on yhe timing of a light (but god forbid i do that)

Hear me out, what if they gave her a special feat that played into her assassin theme?that way, instead of reworking her and changing her kit they just make her viable in the 4v4. Like maybe a feat that allows her to gank without raising the revenge meter. Or a feat that makes her slippery like an assassin and she can’t be grabbed or pushed for a few seconds and instead it initiates a cool twirl animation out of those situations. Idk, I’ve been playing her for a solid week straight and it’s frustrating to feel like you have no pressure in team fights.
Somebody have any tips on how to be useful with nobushi? I am rep 12 (aint much) all I do is go b and bleed opponents in a 2v1. I am pretty average with stalling and duels, but I struggle a lot and I really have to activate all my neurons just to have a mid game. Any tips?
You think they’ll ever get rid of reflex guard? I swear that’s like half of the reason I die when I play an assassin and when I do love it at times bc it is a unique thing for them, if they wanna keep on making “competitive for honor better” then why not just take it off🤷♂️
I play pk and love the change. I don't want her eventual rework to change her combat flow that infamously scares the shit out of people who find themselves in a 1v1
I'm a rep 61 PK main, and I love the changes. Not that it changed a lot, but it does feel less clanky now (but it still is). I mainly play 4v4s and suffer for it. PK needs a different playstyle, you are usually backcapping and do 2v1s. If you outnumber an opponent, you don't really have a chance to get damage in, you can only attack recoveries. Against fullguard heroes you really don't have any offence or defence, so basically you are dead. But if you can outsmart the opponent, you can do good plays. Overall I love the hero and her kit, but man how many times I have suffered just because the game is unfair. When I play meta heroes now I don't feel good, because to play well I only have to alternate between 2 mixups, and have to do no read at all. Which doesn't make them more fun.
I play Peacekeeper mainly without hud. With the quicker dodges her combat in general is a "bit" smoother. Able to slip under most guards she has a bit more advantage to follow up with a lot of dagger strikes and stabs and grabs. Getting ganked sucks ass though. 😂 Also in 4v4 I mainly try to stay away from combat 1 on 1 but offer aid and support with dagger bleed outs (RT to rb) to other heros while trying not to steal the kills. 👍
I play a fair amount of her and I have to say she's one of my stronger anti gank hero's however I still believe she needs to be updated to the current way the game is played she used to be good when hero's like warmonger were the second strongest but not any more much like WM she's fallen off due to the extensive changes of the other reworks. home this helps to some degree. :]
I've gotten most characters up to rep 8 so I only have Plat gear, but pk is one I haven't gotten my armor sets set up yet sadly. She looks fun tho so I might have to do that
The buffs to recovery are nice in 1v1s, but in a meta where optimal ganking is the only thing you’ll fight it’s pretty useless if you get hit once. I’d argue it would be better to just play Shaman if you want to play a mindgame and read based assassin.
PK "rework" idea: 1. Front and side dodge attacks do 14 damage (Instead of 7 like wtf what's 7 damage gonna do. ain't a single light in the game (Shao's don't count) that does that little) 2. Neutral heavy attacks do 24 damage 3. Finisher heavy (no bleed) does 26 damage, finisher heavy (with bleed) 28 damage 4. Top soft feint light is unblockable but it is slowed to (Whatever Zanhu's unblockable light timing is) milliseconds 5. She can instantly dodge cancel from a guardbreak throw (To make her long ah throw animation a little less detrimental) Idk I don't play much pk but from when I did this seems fitting... maybe not the 4th one tho.
Those values seem a little to strong for the character but as a pk main I can agree that her damage is low overall. Her lights should hit for 14 Her starter heavy should deal 20 while finishing at 25 and her zone hitting for 26 or 28

just get last laugh, take a butt load of minions and explode ur way to the top of the leader board. its that easy when the other 4 are too focused killing ur team to dodge it :)
Me telling my friends that pks buff doesn't even change her from where she was as her heavies hit for toothpicks.. my deflects get shoved off by hyper armor. And it feels like a lot of the times some characters hit me 3 times and im dead
One thing I'd like to add is that for some reason pks grab isn't as strong as the rest of the roster and more often than not I just bounce off an enemy when the game should've allowed a guardbreak
i think the reason they are doing small changes little by little is because they have learned from their past. big changes in the past where if it was attack properties changing, dmg being buffed or nerfed. have seemed to have negative feedback from the community and they have gone ok. big changes not good idea. small changes maybe better. i believe in the future we will continue to get small changes to heroes tweaking their properties little by little intill something stops pleasing the community. i do hope that as they continue they don't over tweak and all hero's end up S tier as i dont see that as a fun game to play. imo all heroes should be brought down to a or b.

I played peacekeeper recently in comp duels to get the ornament i wanted, got it first win, fixed my fashion, and no i will no longer be touching her :)
Number 1: in ganks, a fellow peacekeeper MUST rely on incompetent beings called teammates
Number 2: Playing peacekeeper against heroes with infinite light chains and full blocks is frustrating, as everything feels like a 50/50 even before the enemy started attacking (it starts in that time in wivh you or the enemy has frame advantage)
Number 3: As much as i hate to say it, all of peacrkeepers helmets are ugly and they ruin the fashion
Number 4: An enemy or multiple enemies may not feel any kind of pressure unless they leak. This is a problem once the peacekeeper gains revenge ( after 50 parried attacks and 12 undodgeable bashes ) as her damage output lacks, too.
Number 5: a warlords light shall deal more damage than peacekeepers heavy opener. In some peoples heads, this is considered balance and may not be doubted as it wont change anything
Number i lost track: peacekeeper lacks teamfight capabiltities. This is due to her earlier mentioned bleed mechanic and the fact that she has no defensive abilities.
Number idgaf no more: all heroes may experience mental frustration when fighting the worst animals out there: Lightspammers. Though every lightspammer is extremely frustrating to fight, nobushis and kyoshins top all of them heroes by a few notches. I frames on a bash follow up thats 533ms? Why not? A full block and a chain of 3 light attacks? Why not! And dont forget yo make the last two practically undodgeable and make every bash of his that isnt going to be used anyway unpunishable like Black Priors. Makr every opening a 50/50. Heck yeah, thats how to fix a game. But make sure you cant gb anyone out of a dodge attack and add 3min of I frames to kyoshin to make sure he can dodge a heavy on yhe timing of a light (but god forbid i do that)

Hear me out, what if they gave her a special feat that played into her assassin theme?that way, instead of reworking her and changing her kit they just make her viable in the 4v4. Like maybe a feat that allows her to gank without raising the revenge meter. Or a feat that makes her slippery like an assassin and she can’t be grabbed or pushed for a few seconds and instead it initiates a cool twirl animation out of those situations.
Idk, I’ve been playing her for a solid week straight and it’s frustrating to feel like you have no pressure in team fights.

Somebody have any tips on how to be useful with nobushi? I am rep 12 (aint much) all I do is go b and bleed opponents in a 2v1. I am pretty average with stalling and duels, but I struggle a lot and I really have to activate all my neurons just to have a mid game. Any tips?

I play pk and love the change. I don't want her eventual rework to change her combat flow that infamously scares the shit out of people who find themselves in a 1v1
I'm a rep 61 PK main, and I love the changes. Not that it changed a lot, but it does feel less clanky now (but it still is). I mainly play 4v4s and suffer for it. PK needs a different playstyle, you are usually backcapping and do 2v1s. If you outnumber an opponent, you don't really have a chance to get damage in, you can only attack recoveries. Against fullguard heroes you really don't have any offence or defence, so basically you are dead. But if you can outsmart the opponent, you can do good plays. Overall I love the hero and her kit, but man how many times I have suffered just because the game is unfair. When I play meta heroes now I don't feel good, because to play well I only have to alternate between 2 mixups, and have to do no read at all. Which doesn't make them more fun.
I play Peacekeeper mainly without hud. With the quicker dodges her combat in general is a "bit" smoother. Able to slip under most guards she has a bit more advantage to follow up with a lot of dagger strikes and stabs and grabs. Getting ganked sucks ass though. 😂
Also in 4v4 I mainly try to stay away from combat 1 on 1 but offer aid and support with dagger bleed outs (RT to rb) to other heros while trying not to steal the kills. 👍

Maybe if she has the soft at any direction (like shaman) or an opener bash that has a guaranteed bleed attack she'll be better
She doesn't need a bash with bleed as long as she has another opener because so far all she can do is heavy or grab
as a pk main there were some moments I busted at the gameplay and then there were others where I questioned if you were a lvl 1 bot
I’m a rep 12 pk and I still don’t even know if I want to touch them, I’m having an amazing time with the valk rework she’s so much fun now
I play a fair amount of her and I have to say she's one of my stronger anti gank hero's however I still believe she needs to be updated to the current way the game is played she used to be good when hero's like warmonger were the second strongest but not any more much like WM she's fallen off due to the extensive changes of the other reworks. home this helps to some degree. :]

Is thick skin really useless? It seems like it's be pretty good to have 25% damage reduction like that, especially in a gank.
It's a 50 50 either you get it and slow down your play style or get the other feat for more health per execution

The buffs to recovery are nice in 1v1s, but in a meta where optimal ganking is the only thing you’ll fight it’s pretty useless if you get hit once. I’d argue it would be better to just play Shaman if you want to play a mindgame and read based assassin.
PK "rework" idea:
1. Front and side dodge attacks do 14 damage (Instead of 7 like wtf what's 7 damage gonna do. ain't a single light in the game (Shao's don't count) that does that little)
2. Neutral heavy attacks do 24 damage
3. Finisher heavy (no bleed) does 26 damage, finisher heavy (with bleed) 28 damage
4. Top soft feint light is unblockable but it is slowed to (Whatever Zanhu's unblockable light timing is) milliseconds
5. She can instantly dodge cancel from a guardbreak throw (To make her long ah throw animation a little less detrimental)

Those values seem a little to strong for the character but as a pk main I can agree that her damage is low overall. Her lights should hit for 14
Her starter heavy should deal 20 while finishing at 25 and her zone hitting for 26 or 28

Me telling my friends that pks buff doesn't even change her from where she was as her heavies hit for toothpicks.. my deflects get shoved off by hyper armor. And it feels like a lot of the times some characters hit me 3 times and im dead
One thing I'd like to add is that for some reason pks grab isn't as strong as the rest of the roster and more often than not I just bounce off an enemy when the game should've allowed a guardbreak

i think the reason they are doing small changes little by little is because they have learned from their past. big changes in the past where if it was attack properties changing, dmg being buffed or nerfed. have seemed to have negative feedback from the community and they have gone ok. big changes not good idea. small changes maybe better. i believe in the future we will continue to get small changes to heroes tweaking their properties little by little intill something stops pleasing the community. i do hope that as they continue they don't over tweak and all hero's end up S tier as i dont see that as a fun game to play. imo all heroes should be brought down to a or b.

I only play peacekeeper because I think shes cute, why do i have to suffer because of it. I mained conq for so long and was so good with him, then the beautiful mythic flame skin for peacekeeper drew me to her, win rate has been going down since then
