As a child during that decade I used to marvel at the men and women on a Saturday night queueing for the bus for a night out at one of the factory social clubs down the road in Darlaston. I'd be playing in the street when they'd start to come out of their houses to traipse to the bus stop on the main drag. All dressed up, excited, laughing, chatting, radiating cologne and perfume and always with a ciggy on. Less money, materialism, cynicism and less guarded than today. Quite memorable.
All those people all those lives Where are they now ? With loves and hates And passions just like mine They were born And then they lived And then they died It's seems so unfair I want to cry
Christ, this takes me back. Everyone smoking and getting slowly hammered. Smoke so thick, you needed a lighthouse at the other end of the pub to guide you to the toilets.
Not illegal at all but it’s just pathetic when dressed up in racist terms and looked at through rose tinted glasses as though poverty and crime didn’t exist back then
I think the Lady in the grey turtle neck top 0.20 - 0.35 is quite pretty. I wonder what kind of life she had. Im guessing the guy next to her is her husband.
1970's what? For goodness' sake, you're *the* English! Do please educate yourselves about how to use basic punctuation, such as an apostrophe; you're even making the colonies look bad. ;) :D Quick reminder: "1970's Fashion" literally means the fashion of the specific year, 1970, and only that year.

Somewhat touching to see that with that particular music. The way we were.
Fab. So melancholic.
The BGM gives altogether a different appeal ..
Just as others we all perish, and there's a beauty in it
Don't be so insulting it was the 70s and that's how things were not all sitting around looking at mobiles ect

Stop it. You've made me miserable now.

Some of them are on the west coast of Florida, playing shuffleboard & riding scooters
We all die and our children will die....that ain’t the sadness...the sadness is if you don’t get the chance to live

I sear I saw a young Spike Milligan, there, in the background, there again !
❤
Bloody good night out with your mates or your missus. Great times never to return unfortunately.
Not a refuge in site.
Inappropriate backing track. Bit of Russ Conway, Mrs. Mills, Joe 'Piano' Henderson or even Bobby Crush would have been more like it

Don't take the alcohol away from them. They need it.
Wheel tappers and shunters.....
