I also just recently tried listening to their music and it's actually really really good!!! They're such BABIEEESS tho and there's a reason for it, i just discovered they're really young lmaooo but very talented nonetheless.
I just recently discovered SB19 and fell in love and didnt want to look at any other Ppop but when I did it was Alamat and I love them like SB19’s little brothers and hope they also soar high!
The guy w/ the colored hair, Jao, is actually the main dancer together with Taneo, the one w/ the lowest register/blue tie. Mo (cornrows) & Alas (also seated) are their main rappers, but everyone are actually capable rappers as well Tomas (colorful voice) is the main vocals together w/ Mo R-ji (laid back guy) is their subvocals
The name of the guy with the corn rows is Mo, and he is the main songwriter of their song Gayuma which has an R&B feel as well. I'd recommend the Wish Bus performance of that song next, and its music video is great too. The other members in order are Tomás, R-Ji, Taneo, Jao and Alás. Unlike Spanish, we don't usually write the accent marks, but it shows where the stress goes. They have announced their second album and have even teased its first single Day and Night, due to drop June 14.
I like your insights on each member hahaha🥰Alamat is a group of all-rounders. All of them can sing-rap-dance; the two guys seated are the lead rapper and main rapper of the group- i love everytime they sing. Blasian guy with cornrow is great with adlibs, so as the guy behind him [the intro/outro fairy]. The chill/laidback guy plays guitar and many musical instruments really well. Next two guys are the choreographers of the group and they sing the lower harmonies [one with the necktie is a disciplined leader with toned/sculpted body; the one with ash gray hair is a really passionate dancer/youngest/social butterfly of the group]. The rapper you mentioned is great at producing beats and remix. If you want to watch more of their vocals, i suggest "ILY-ILY" it's like a rhapsody [the choir-like intro is inspired by a Filipino Folk song titled Ili-ili Tulog Anay]🤎 SB19 and ALAMAT are my fave ppop groups
Wow, that was quick! I knew you would like this so that you could focus on their vocals. I would also suggest Maharani, Gayuma, and a ballad, Sa Panaginip Na Lang (my personal favorite is the midnight version because it brings out the emotions in me). Can’t wait for more reactions to Alamat🤎
So I don’t follow this group but I know about them, and I recommend their song, ILY ILY. The composition is really good , it’s very different, like a mashup of genres. I know you’ll appreciate it. 🙂
Thanks so much to reacting to my fave ppop boy band! Mo’s vocals is something else! Alas is my bias ( the rapper), but I love all of them. Please react to their new single coming out on the 14th called but in the meantime please react to more MV or live stuff by Alamat! I love reactions and can watch them over and over! Let’s go Alamat! And thank you again for all the support🤎🤎🤎💕
Vocals and harmonies supreme, that's Alamat! I suggest you backtrack first on their discography so you can better appreciate how they evolved to their current sound. Their first tracks were "Kbye" and "Kasmala". Both have MVs and Kasmala has a Wishbus oerformance that I know you'll love. From the get-go, you'll know that this group is gonna be a force to reckon with in the Ppop scene, and as we're hoping, worldwide. They were formed to shine a spotlight on our diverse cultures in the Phils, that's why their songs are written with a combination of major languages spoken in the country. Many of their songs, too, have backstories that touch on historical and social issues in Philippine society. I'm an A'tin, but I stan Alamat, too! Really hardworking guys, too, and their card is up next!
This group is another testimony that Philippines is overflowing with talents. Although I prefer a much older sounding voices (being a VIP) we can't deny the fact that these boys are really talented.
You're basically on the path that a lot of people have taken in discovering PPop, but don't stop there! There are so many groups with amazing talent. Alamat is especially great because they really try to incorporate different aspects of the Philippine culture and language. Many of their songs use different Filipino languages (there are a lot) and their outfits in music videos usually incorporate some traditional elements as well. I feel like next up, in terms of guy groups, you're going to end up checking out BGYO, VXON, Press Hit Play, 1st One, Yes My Love, Pluus, Hori7on... I'm sure there are others but that's not even mentioning the super talented girl groups like Bini, Kaya, G22... and then the solo artists as well. ... but then when you realize that PPop is but a small subgenre of popular music in the Philippines, and the amount of talent that exists across OPM, rock, hip hop and PPop, you're in for a ride.
thank you for checking alamat out! they're also one of my favorite groups! Their song 'Ily Ily' (pronounced ilee ilee) is also amazing live, but i'd suggest watching the MV to first get the context of the song. Aside from that you can't go wrong with their discography, they're amazing!!
To give context, those two standers at the right (Taneo & Jao) are incredible dancers. They've improved their vocals too. You might wanna check "ILY ILY" to discover more of their singing. Lastly, that guy on the left sitting is Mo the group's leader. 😊
i highly recommend listening to arthur nery !! though he is a soloist you're really gonna be in for a treat. "isa lang" or "higa" is a great start for his filipino songs while "cotton candy" and "take all the love" for his english ones.
I'm so glad you liked the song 😊 Jao and Taneo do the lower harmonies (Taneo does the really low ones). Jao (your maybe bias) is my actual bias in the group, haha. He's an incredible dancer. My favourite Alamat songs are Gayuma and Aswang. Mo (the guy with the cornrows) wrote Gayuma with help from Taneo and Alas, and Jao and Taneo did the choreo. Both have MVs and Gayuma has a Wish Bus perf. But I think the songs you'd like the most are Sa Panaginip Na Lang, Maharani, and maybe ILY ILY. They all have MVs but only ILY ILY has a Wish Bus perf. I also agree with you about their voices needing a little more time to mature, even though they already sound great now. SB19 trained for a lot longer before they debuted (and are older), so that's probably why they were so polished even when they were just starting out. I'm 100% an Magiliw (Alamat's fandom name, which means beloved) as well as an A'tin, but I do think their live vocals aren't quite as stable as SB19's yet. I don't have any doubt that they'll get there though - it's just a matter of time and experience.
Also: this is a bit of a tangent, and I know you don't really cover girl groups or female soloists on your channel, but if you like listening to them in your own time, here's a couple of quick recs: - 'Babalik' by G22, an R&B-tinged ballad with amazing vocals. There's an MV and Wish Bus for it. The members often sing in their alto registers which you almost never hear these days. Some people compare them to Blackpink but I think a much more accurate comparison is En Vogue, because trust me, these girls can SING. - Not really p-pop, but if you enjoy R&B/soul music in the vein of Lauryn Hill, I think you'd like KZ Tandingan. 'Nag iisa nanaman' and 'Imposible' are a couple of songs I think you'd like. The latter has an MV and both have Wish Bus perfs, but personally I like the performance of 'Nag iisa nanaman' on BBC Radio more. 🙂
Pls react to SB19 TILALUHA WITH LIVE ORCHESTRA in their FORTE CONCERT...Their live vocals and visuals are extremely amazing....take my word for it HURRAIRA😊😊
I also just recently tried listening to their music and it's actually really really good!!! They're such BABIEEESS tho and there's a reason for it, i just discovered they're really young lmaooo but very talented nonetheless.
Please react more to their wish bus performance. Their voices really good especially when they sing together
I love ALAMAT❤️ all of their songs are very good! I love their Maharani song and Sa Panaginip na Lang. Latest MV is Gayuma! ❤️

ILY ILY and Gayuma from WishBus. And the MV of Maharani. These songs from them are good. 😃
More Alamat pleaseee. Pls check ILY ILY, gayuma, sa panaginip lang and if you want something different check aswang
So I don’t follow this group but I know about them, and I recommend their song, ILY ILY. The composition is really good , it’s very different, like a mashup of genres. I know you’ll appreciate it. 🙂
I like your speaking voice. You sound like those on advertisements. 🤎

My favorite Alamat music video is Gayuma. My favorite song of theirs might be ILY ILY.
That was fast! ❤
Left to right: Mo, Tomas, R-Ji, Taneo, Jao, Alas

This group is another testimony that Philippines is overflowing with talents. Although I prefer a much older sounding voices (being a VIP) we can't deny the fact that these boys are really talented.

Alamat started as a 9-member group but sadly 3 left after one year (2 were main vocalists). Their debut song is KBYE, a catchy one.
They're so talented ❤and they represents Philippines culture..they are multilingual boys from the Philippines ❤
what a treat! you’ve come right up for the live! ❤❤❤
thank you for checking alamat out! they're also one of my favorite groups!
Their song 'Ily Ily' (pronounced ilee ilee) is also amazing live, but i'd suggest watching the MV to first get the context of the song. Aside from that you can't go wrong with their discography, they're amazing!!
After SB19 my next favorite is ALAMAT. Their GAYUMA MV is worth watching!
2:15 Mo - Leader - Vocal
2:55 Taneo - Leader - Dance
3:50 Rji
4:06 Alas
5:27 Jao
6:55 Tomas
SB19 is my first favorite and Alamat is the 2nd one I enjoy aa well. The first song I enjoyed from Alamat was Maharani. ❤
To give context, those two standers at the right (Taneo & Jao) are incredible dancers. They've improved their vocals too. You might wanna check "ILY ILY" to discover more of their singing. Lastly, that guy on the left sitting is Mo the group's leader. 😊
I thought TANEO is their leader? 😅
Do their “GAYUMA” wish bus performance next. or “ILY ILY” ft Lyca Gairanod

A'tin's favorite group next to SB19.
A'TIN x Magiliw here!
Yeah A'TIN Magiliw here💙🤎
2:11 - you and me both girl 😁😁
The lowest harmony was from Taneo the guy standing beside the guy with blue/ash grey hair.
Pls react to SB19 TILALUHA WITH LIVE ORCHESTRA in their FORTE CONCERT...Their live vocals and visuals are extremely amazing....take my word for it HURRAIRA😊😊
Maharani and Sa Panaginip na lang are my top faves of ALAMAT 🤎
