If it makes any difference, I was and still am, 100% female. I was 17-18 at the time.

They also carved vegetables and fruits out, put faces on them and lit candles inside them to scare away bad spirits and light the way for the beloved deceased. Although America is the most prominent Halloween enthused country as of now, it once was one of the least exposed to Halloween compared to Britain, Scotland and Ireland.
