    I've actually quite enjoyed the boss battles. They weren't too challenging, but fun, nonetheless.

      Whereas Gleeoks and Lynels were actively frustrating. Same with Ganondorf Phase 2. I find it funny that his gripes with the Bosses are "They aren't frustrating enough". Also the Bosses being easy can easily be explained away in-Universe by this Link being fully experienced after BOTW. After all, Ganondorf only took his arm, Hearts Containers and Stamina Vessels. Link still had his Muscle-Memory as well as his previous Combat Experience. He wasn't as Green as he was at the start of BOTW. I wish that there was a way to re-Battle Story related Mini-Bosses like the Sludge-Like and Moragia so that I could get Sculptures of them in Tarry Town as well as the Seized Construct.

    I think as a whole if they just did something more interesting in how you fight each one, and just used the abilities more rather than relying on your own weapons, that would have been really cool. I also think they could have done more with the story of each one. Like imagine if they made it to where the queen gibdo flew up the tower and you had to use the ascend ability to catch up and be in range to fight it. What if you had to fuse the Gohma’s bomb rocks or even attach it back onto gohma with the ultrahand ability?

    It is kind of shocking that the final boss didn't incorporate Zonai devices. Missed opportunity for sure

      Why would ganon have access to zonal devices all the sudden after being sealed away, especially since you're supposed to have stopped master kohga at that point

    My least favourite thing about seized construct is that you can't rematch it. Of course I didn't know that until I got all the light roots and I don't really want to start over to fight just one boss

    I think we can all agree that Colgera was the best boss in the game, and it’s the easiest boss gameplay wise once you know it’s attack patterns. Just goes to show how having an epic atmosphere can contribute to having a great boss battle and Colgera nails it perfectly

    • @MonsterHunterxRWBY
      @MonsterHunterxRWBY ปีที่แล้ว

      I think part of that is due to how it actually fights like a Classic Zelda boss.

    • @MonsterHunterxRWBY
      @MonsterHunterxRWBY ปีที่แล้ว

      The dungeons and bosses are much better than the Divine Beasts, they just feel lacking compared to the classic formula where each dungeon has you obtain a new tool that helps in exploration and against the bosses. They tried it with the other temple bosses but it felt somewhat lackluster in comparison, especially since there are ways to replicate the abilities of each sage that don't suffer from a cooldown timer (or the developers could have made the sages a necessity for some open world puzzles).@@Clickonmychannel123

    They're a lot better than BotW's...but that's about it...these games aren't my favorite Zelda games to begin with. So yeah, bosses are "ok" but they're still kinda meh, also I just hated Gibdo in general. Never got to the final boss, after the four dungeons I once again lost interested with the game and moved on to other stuff. Also the second half of Gohma's fight I kept missing the legs, so I dunno. lol

    Tbh, Bosses in BotW and TotK were a letdown. there was no memorable fight, tbh.
    What I like in older games was the item in the dungeon to beat/complete the dungeon and the boss, most of the time.
    Fire Temple - Megaton Hammer, To access the Forest Temple, you needed the hookshot and to complete the Forest Temple, you needed the Bow.
    Water Temple - Longshot, Spirit Temple - Eye of Truth + Silver Gauntlet + Mirror Shield, Shadow Temple - Eye of Truth + Hoover Boots, etc.. That's what I liked from a Zelda Game.
    BotW and TotK felt more of a "Walking simulator" and "building simulator" than a Zelda game.
    Having everything at the beginning to complete the game, for me, that kills the game and the "purpose" of exploring entirely, in a way.

    • @HungryWarden
      @HungryWarden ปีที่แล้ว

      I hated that. Dungeon items were just “use it on the boss to stun it then stabby stabby”

    I dunno, I liked Colgera...
    Marbled Gohna was kinda meh, they were onto something but didn't find it...
    Mucktorok was fine in the low grav but is absolutely terrible in any rematches
    Queen Gibdo can go die in a hole
    Forgot the Seized Construct even existed for a while there
    Ganondorf was actually pretty good, not great, but a lot better than some of the other bosses
    This is probably my favorite version of Phantom Ganon, though that bar wasn't very high
    Edit: All the sages could be fixed if they had a way to automatically trigger them like Tulin, Riju should just start her thing if you pull out your bow close enough to her, ESPECIALLY Riju gets fixed

    Hm, fair and valid points and opinions,
    Personally, I didn’t think they were that bad, but I can agree they could’ve been better, i wonder if Quick Time Events would’ve add to them?

    The reason, why you can fight the bosses without the sage ability is because you can instantly challenge ganondorf after the tutorial, but then you have to fight all the bosses in a row without their respectable Sage. (Like in Botw)

    The thing about cheasing Ganon, in order to chease him you either need to be able to kill a Lynel for the Multishot Bow or get the Materials in order to Craft Revali's Bow which can take some Effort since you need flintstones and diamonds for them So you either have to grind for a lot of Rupees to buy them from the Gorons and defeat at least the Wind Temple Boss, and this would take a lot of Time, or you basically kill straight up a Demon that has like Ganon a Godlike Status which already requires some skill.
    And at least the things that make the fights more challenging is the fact that his Gloom can annihalate your Hearts AND your Equipment and the only excepion being the Master Sword.

      What's the point in doing that tho..you kind of ruined the fight for yourself. I went into the battle with minimal hearts (only opted for stamina), non-upgraded armor (I was two shots from dying but I managed to only get hit once), unfused master sword, no bow, and no gloom foods. It was almost like a "challenge run" but that's what made the fight so enjoyable and long-lasting for me
