I legitimately cried over Dan's experience with going to Israel and singing during his Bar Mitzvah, like having someone in your family be so proud of you is something I wish I could experience, and it was just a really wholesome thing to hear
I've lived in Oregon all my life, and Dan's little quip about Oregon giving him that feeling of home really hit me. It had an effect on me, and honestly restored my love and appreciation for Oregon which had been dwindling lately. You'll probably never see this, Dan, but you made me feel at home again. I live in very southern Washington and am maybe half an hour from Portland, where the company Dan was talking about is located. And honestly I completely understand what he was saying about feeling at home. I'm very comfortable in that area because it's still so near my home but it feels far enough away that I don't need to feel shy or embarrassed in public from fear of seeing someone I know. I'm definitely more comfortable and at home in Oregon than in my own town.

Man I remember now why I used to love them so much, they were still getting to know each other for the longest time, they shared so many stories and it was so genuine and eager. It's different now and that's not bad, they've grown alot in terms of mental health and doing their thing, but now I know why the Jontron-early-mid Dan era is my absolute favorite. Now they know each other so well they kinda just play the game now. It never used to be a let's play, they'd play up these stories a little and the delivery was geared towards each other, which made it great.
In my Introduction to Sacred Scripture class, the teacher asked us what Jewish boys had to do for the rite of passage. I was the only one who knew and I answered confidently, she asked if I learned that from previous schooling, I just nodded my head and said yes, but I just remembered Dan’s story.
I honestly really love the fact that the Grumps spend their time while recording just...bantering about their lives and stuff they've done or been through. Like they talk about games, too, but they also just talk. It's like they're not even recording; they're just hanging out playing games together and chatting, and we're there with them listening to their conversations.
Oh god. I remember those. I made it in like... First grade. But the day that the leprechauns were supposed to show up, my parents took me out of school to celebrate my birthday. I don't think anything happened with my trap, though.
In times of great loss in my life, i always come back to this video. Whether it be short bits of anxiety, full blown panic attacks, times I've lost people to death, times I've lost people to time, breakups, work being hell, struggling with my mental health, being sick, in hospital, or long drives, I've always come back to here. As a person who was denied a childhood, it's really nice and comforting to hear these childhood stories, almost like them painting a picture for me on what it must have been like
When I was a very young child I was watching cops with my grandma. She wasn’t supposed to be showing me it but I didn’t know that. In the episode they talked about “smoking roaches” because my parents could not tell me what it really meant I had to live thinking people from the hood picked up dead roaches, hollowed them out and smoke them. I avoided those with city accents because I thought they smoked roaches and I just couldn’t like people like that.
I love this video. I find lots of these very personal stories to be so honest, pure, and often very relatable. It makes me feel better and less embarrassed about the things I did as a child.

I remember the first time I came back home after being away for so long. Even though everyone said I’d get this homesick feeling, I never did. I've lived in Oregon all my life, and Dan's little quip about Oregon giving him that feeling of home really hit me. It had an effect on me, and honestly restored my love and appreciation for Oregon which had been dwindling lately. You'll probably never see this, Dan, but you made me feel at home again. I live in very southern Washington and am maybe half an hour from Portland, where the company Dan was talking about is located. And honestly I completely understand what he was saying about feeling at home. I'm very comfortable in that area because it's still so near my home but it feels far enough away that I don't need to feel shy or embarrassed in public from fear of seeing someone I know. I'm definitely more comfortable and at home in Oregon than in my own town.

Man I remember now why I used to love them so much, they were still getting to know each other for the longest time, they shared so many stories and it was so genuine and eager. It's different now and that's not bad, they've grown alot in terms of mental health and doing their thing, but now I know why the Jontron-early-mid Dan era is my absolute favorite. Now they know each other so well they kinda just play the game now. It never used to be a let's play, they'd play up these stories a little and the delivery was geared towards each other, which made it great.

I honestly really love the fact that the Grumps spend their time while recording just...bantering about their lives and stuff they've done or been through. Like they talk about games, too, but they also just talk. It's like they're not even recording; they're just hanging out playing games together and chatting, and we're there with them listening to their conversations.

Oh god. I remember those. I made it in like... First grade. But the day that the leprechauns were supposed to show up, my parents took me out of school to celebrate my birthday. I don't think anything happened with my trap, though.

When I was a very young child I was watching cops with my grandma. She wasn’t supposed to be showing me it but I didn’t know that. In the episode they talked about “smoking roaches” because my parents could not tell me what it really meant I had to live thinking people from the hood picked up dead roaches, hollowed them out and smoke them. I avoided those with city accents because I thought they smoked roaches and I just couldn’t like people like that.
