yes, pretty much all monsters that say "if x happens, special summon this from your hand" work like that And garunix specifies with (even if not) because garunix can also summon from gy and they wanted to clarify that it HAS to be in gy when something is destroyed, but not for it if in hand. Konami tried to make it clearer but it was just more confusing imo
The target yiu grab with Hiita can be used as a level 8 for the special summon of Zombie Vampire

Deck is better without the snake eye cards. Pure is the way to go with more rank 8s. That's what I get master1 with on master duel
