Love these techniques and the cards are beautiful. The butterfly cut from the acetate looked a little sparkly it would look great on a card as well, you could use a solid color CS for the body and hide adhesive to attach it. Thanks for sharing.
These techniques make beautiful cards. I loved the effect from dabbing the ink through the acetate. It had a lovely watery, ethereal look that looks like batik. Very pleasing. 💖💖💖
Love your videos and your heart. You will never regret The Bible Recap. I’m doing I tow for the 3rd year in a row and feel I will do it for the rest of my life because you pick up stuff everytime that you missed before. Tara Leigh is so humble, knowledgeable and ever learning herself. Her commentary is helpful, informative and sometimes funny and always relatable. God definitely called her to this and she is wonderful to follow and learn from. Her life is dedicated to it. I listen to the daily readings while I’m getting ready and then her podcast. It’s not a lot of time which is nice because I do a more time consuming one at church. Highly recommend The Bible Recap.
Wonderful encouragement, Anna. I've read thru the Bible several times and now I am writing it out. It's made me slow down and really take in each word. God is always faithful to teach thru His Holy Spirit. Bless you!
Your butterfly cards are beautiful! I’ve started reading the Bible on my TH-cam Version app, ESV. I have the Bible Recap but haven’t been using it. I’ll have to start. Thank you for all your encouragement!
Absolutely beautiful butterfly cards. I really like the watercolor method. I also like using the stamp blocks as ink palettes. The watercolor pen is very versatile. Thank you for sharing.
I just started the Bible Recap I am on day 11 in Job. I am ashamed to say how many times I have tried to read through the Bible but this is the first time chronologically. I am also loving the YouVersion Bible, this time I am bouncing between NIV and MSG Bible cause it reads to me which I find helpful. I am actually excited to do my reading each day which is amazing. Definitely in with you on this venture.
I love the watercolor techniques! Your cards are beautiful! Also, in past years, I have used an app for Bible reading called “Read Scripture”. It was a huge undertaking for the group of people who put it together. There is history and information about each book before the reading begins. There are videos, giving explanations throughout as well. It is very well done!
Gorgeous cards!! And great idea to use the resource for reading through the Bible!! I’ll check it out!! Thanks Anna!!
