  • I went out to Aliso Woods with Blair and we did the preview of the group ride I will be leading at the Laguna Bike Fest:
We will start at the Festival climb Stair Step.
    Drop down Lynx
climb up and Drop down 5 Oaks
climb Cholla and Drop down Rock It
climb Cholla and Drop down Stair Steps
I plan to lead the ride either Oct 26th or 27th (Sat or Sunday) we have not confirmed the dates yet. I will update on my Instagram @t_wrex_mtb
We also plan to do a dig day in Aliso on Oct 19th or 20th we are still working out the details with OC Parks and Laguna Foundation and will update as we get closer.
This was the first time I was also able to get my GPS to work so I was stoked that it finally worked. I was really happy with it. I also tested the DJI Mic 2 Transmitter and it was crystal clear. I am so happy with the DJI Osmo Action 5 so far and plan to do a 30 day review soon.

The DJI microphone definitely sounded better. Your voice was very crystal clear!!

    Like everyone else is saying,
No filter needed on cloudy days. Definitely something off with the settings or stabilization, you’ll figure it out. Mic is cool but not necessary while riding with the mounting setup you have already. Keep working on it, GPS was cool for sure.

I really like the mic and gps data. There is some distortion with the digital motion suppression. Without the mic is ok too just not a clear or loud.

@ManNomad yeah i agree 💯 the mic sounds so good but without it it's not that bad. I also was messing with the different settings with my exposure, shutter speed and ISO and i think i finally figured out how to use the ND filters without having issues with the stabilization

The features are cool , but the picture is still somewhat fuzzy , I’m really wanting to like these cameras but I’m leaning on the GoPro 13 , it’s awesome to watch the differences on equipment from professional rider/creator like yourself

@BIGGRIC_MTB23 the issue with the video quality is having the ND filter on and the settings I had on my exposure. I've messed with it since this ride I finally found the best settings to fix the stabilization. It will be on my next video

@@TommyHuynh right on brother , as always the content and presentation is supreme 👍

ND filters are for when it’s too bright and you can’t increase your shutter speed to compensate. Sorry to say that the footage looks like fuzzy mush with it on here.

The video is very shaky and not stable.

@@Phil-yo3rj it was my ND filter and shutter speed

@@TommyHuynhnd filters will always make your footage more blurry. Google search for 10stop nd filter images and you’ll see what I mean. They’re used for adding blur into images and drawing out the shutter speed. No use at all for GoPro MTB stuff.
