    Some people mentioned that their lining was "puffy" after sewn in. The speaker mentions that the sewing line type needs to be changed to "Turned" @ 4:10 - this is a property that can be changed to allow a seam to press open or closed, basically will allow that edge to hinge so the lining does not bubble at the edges where lining and bag meet. It is explained thoroughly how to change Sewing Line Type in the tutorial linked below.

      Instead of creating the zipper; I used the Zipper tool. Why is the Zipper tool fails every time I simulate ? No matter what the bag either implode on itself with the lining going out and simulation never stabilizing or go airborne and disappear from the view.

    Very good example of a different forms with zip, not just boxed item. Thank you!

    I cannot sew handles with main fabric's internal line at step at time 2:13, internal lines are not being selected by sewing tool.

      @CLO3D  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      If those lines are purple dotted lines, they are Baselines. You need to use the Trace tool and convert them to Internal Lines.

    • @CLO3D
      @CLO3D  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Keep your Particle Distance higher so simulation will run faster. You can leave Strengthen on and keep the stiffness until you are finished. Use Freeze when you need to "anchor" another pattern piece. You can render with Strengthen and Freeze still on.

    • @CLO3D
      @CLO3D  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      This has to do with the fabric that you apply. Whichever one you choose, make sure in the Physical Property Preset you choose "Trim Full grain Leather" This will stay stiff when you simulate.

    Once you design a bag on the software does the software 'create' the instructions/pattern to make the bag? If not, is there separate software to use for the pattern process?

    how are you "pinning" the handles to stay up??

    • @CLO3D
      @CLO3D  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      When you are on the Select/Move tool in the 3D window, hold down the "W" Key and click on an area. This will place a "pin" down. To remove the pin you can right click and choose delete or you can Hold "W" and click back on the pin to remove it.
