I think this new one is a stunning looking big car ...I have the 2024 Trophy manual outgoing model and I love it .....this new one will sell like hotcakes here in the uk I'm sure ..you really do get plenty of bang for your buck with the MG .....Great review
Appreciate MG bringing new vehicles to the market place but MG Motor UK should realise that UK dealers are overwhelmed at these new products coming through thick and fast. There is not enough staff at dealerships who have any knowledge of these cars and customers requiring parts are left for weeks waiting for parts. The cars themselves are very good.
Staffing would be down to dealers, being franchises, but staff training on new models will be for MG to do. I was a sales executive for a Peugeot dealership, years ago and Peugeot's Coventry head office would send trainers round all the dealers, prior to new model releases.
they just seem to get better and better. people was laughing at first but now there not laughing and seem to be catching up. looks amazing and the price is really good value great video
Excellent review, he covered all the essential things in a good concise manner. I would like to see more of his reviews. The car itself is very impressive, it really makes you question why BMW, Audi and Mercedes exist?
Great video guys! The HS is really good value for money and I know ultimately you want to sell some of these but please highlight some negatives too as it ads to authenticity. The ADAS systems are really intrusive in the HS and the fact there is no USB-C chargers and no wireless CarPlay means I haven’t been able to use CarPlay which is a disappointment. It’s a good car but it’s really not perfect.
and here we have 3 model options Vibe ...Excite... Essence.... starting at about $34000 AUD or £17,500 and everyone complains about the ADAS system .... and I have to say no tailgate opening button from inside the vehicle
Be interested to know how the driver's legroom compares to the old model. I test drove a 2022 model a couple of years ago, and whilst I thought it was surprisingly good quality, it had nowhere near enough legroom for me - I'm 6'3" and I was finding it painful after about 300yds. Please tell me legroom has increased as it was a good car otherwise!
You just type into the search bar in the navigation bar section and away you go. If you wish to use Waze or GM the car has android auto and apple carplay
The PHEVS are not out until the end of September but it should not really matter the car is so much cheaper you could run it without the battery for 2-3 years while charging the others every day and this will still be more cost effective.
The phrase 'you get what you pay for' is very true when it comes to vehicles. For £25k, I guess you can expect a little. Bit less 'new tech' etc. I'd be OK without wireless if I'm saving £10k on something similar that does have wireless. I guess it depends just how important it is.
You better check the filaments of the interior "soft materials" - there are rumors they are very toxic and causes cancer, not sure if that's true, but it would be better to check before buy.
There are everyday things around us that already cause cancer or health issues. I think this car would be least of your worries as we don’t live/stay in it 24/7 But i get what u mean so better safe than sorry
It looks lovely on the outside. I have a 73 plate MG and still love it. But this new model seems like a downgrade. The seats might be comfy but don't have that racing look about them, there's no sunroof, theres no ambient lighting. Does it have puddle lights? Tried to see if it has the directional indicators like the old model? Just seems like a few things are missing here so I'll probably pass which I'm a bit gutted about

So what do you propose as a solution? Surely staffing and parts issues are for MG themselves to resolve?

Finally! The first cool video about the new HS! :D Please soon test the hybrid version! Looking forward to watching the next video.
Coming soon!
When is the hybrid coming? Not the PHEV
There is no planned hybrid as of yet
@@EdenMotorGroup that’s a huge shame as were I live I can’t have a PHEV and I don’t want just petrol
@@wayneheyes4934Try the new MG ZS Hybrid+ i saw on their website

In Australia MG has just gone to 10 year Warranty.👌
That may be a temperature thing. Our climate isn't kind to metal up here.

Thank you I too need a good seat with my disability so these things are very helpful
How about pano roof for trophy?
That video sold it for me thats my next car thanks
I enjoyed watching the Video Review 😊
I wonder why they removed the sunroof completely cause it looked cool

Unsure, but the car has more interior space so I would go and try one for sure are you local to newton abbot or Swindon?
I bet you are overweight, I'm 187cm and it is same as in other cars.
It has no ambient lighting! How could SAIC launch a new car without ambient lighting. Amazing..
Best thing ever. I hate gipsy lights.
@@mrki412 you can turn them off
What brand of speakers?
How the nav works? how it sets the route? does the dashboard display nav commnads from android auto aps like waze or google maps?

@@EdenMotorGroup yup, but i asked if map frm waze is diplayed on the main dashboard (the one behind the wheel) 🙂 like the embeded nav 🙂
What's the ground clearance
Where you planning to take it? Lol
Around 180 mm
What is the real life mpg for this car as opposed to the claimed I wonder?
Why so much Piano black 😮😢
I just find the auto gearbox to be hunting for gears when I drove the previous model. Hopefully this is fixed with the new model
You get a lot for your money. Hopefully they are reliable.
One hell of a new car for £25k.... cheaper than a new Ford Focus.
Which color is this?
Hampstead grey
@@EdenMotorGroup I wish they had a grey color but with a mate/pastel finish and black rims. Also, add front seats ventilation and I am sold.
Is that DSG? Is it DCT? Because there are other videos that say DSG?
DCT according to MG's website
@@RichardMcLaren Thank you
As for technology and desig, DSG and DCT are the same.
@@fixanddrive How can it be the same?
@@HSENXDSG (Direct-Shift Gearbox) is just Volkswagen Group's specific branding for its DCT (Dual-Clutch Transmission).
I can't find information about consumption when battery is off. I suspect worse than compettitors like Kuga or Rav4...

Why do so few new cars have sunroofs? Don’t drivers want a bit of sunshine or fresh air anymore
It's because they all have air-con. Most manufacturers will do sunroof options, probably.
@@RichardMcLaren most cars have had aircon for 15 years or more but many more still had sunroofs. I don't think I could buy a car without a sunroof
Looks nice but far to big for us
Maybe a smaller ZS would suit you better?
They need a diesel.
Best video on HS great car for the money I have a Kia Sportage hybrid cost €41000
Thanks for sharing
👍
Still MG has no 7 seater...
The front looks like it is vomiting itself.
To big lad doesn't fit in a standard parking space u will get a ticket unfortunately i was extremely interested in one until it grew to long .
