Barbara, thank you so much for your FlossTube. I enjoy your stitching choices but I especially like your tea recommendations. I discovered over the past year I have issues with drinking coffee. Coffee did not energize or keep me awake….it actually made me sleepy. However, I noticed tea did provide the “boost” I needed and thanks to you, I have discovered a whole new world of tea drinking. Based on your recommendations, I’m enjoying the taste of tea. I’m from the South so the main tea I would drink is sweetened ice tea but now I’m enjoying tea’s flavor without all the sugar. Also, I just ordered the Immunity tea you presented in this FlossTube. As a cancer survivor, I am interested in always boosting my immune system. Thank you B! ❤
Oh! This makes me smile real big! I am SO pleased that you’re trying the teas and enjoying them! The Immune Builder tea is really good! Try it iced, I think you’ll like it that way, too. Thank you so much for visiting me. Take care now. I wish you all the best! Happy New Year!
Thank you so much for your shout out to my channel! I love that you watched the Flossmas updates while you were walking and getting some steps in! That's amazing. So fun to spend a little time with you on this video and hear about your plans. I too want to do a stash year and low buy year. Love all of your project bags! Give thanks is such a cute finish! Congrats!
Hi Andrew! I’m so glad you stopped by. Thank you for your kind words. I’m hoping that I can stick with my low buy idea. Fingers crossed! Happy New Year to you, your Andrew and sweet little Winston!
Hi B! Thank you for the mention and yes, you pronounced my name correctly! I also stitched Fall is in the Air by FQS but changed it a bit! Loved your Primrose and Brenda stitches! Happy New Year!
What a wonderful Flosstube video Barbara - I love fall colours too - I hadn’t seen “Give Thanks” before and your beautiful stitching has encouraged me to add this to my list of possible new starts for 2025 😊 Happy new year 🎉 Also, will hold you gently in prayer - prayin ‘ kinda gal here…
Always enjoy watching you. Fall is my favorite to stitch, so I loved seeing your fall pieces. I also don't make plans, I just stitch what I feel at the moment. I don't have many wips, usually only work on 1 big piece and a few smaller pieces. I like learning all the tea knowledge that you have. Prayers and many blessings to you and your family for 2025.
Just found you. I could listen to you for hours. You have the most beautiful and soothing voice. I love that you combine stitching and tea. I’m drinking a black chai as I’m enjoying your video. God bless you and your family in the new year. I will keep you in my daily prayers. ❤️🙏
This was the first video of yours that I watched and I enjoyed it so much! You are so right we all that drawer or box of stitches that need to fully finished. Happy New Year! Thanks! Janine
Great video, love spending time with you Great stitches, love, love, love that little Fox, so darn cute! Your bags are fabulous. I also started stitching in the 80s, yes Geese were very popular. I don't make plans, I just pick up whatever calls to me. 😊 Happy New Year! Marilyn
My prayers are with you and your family. My go to store back in the day was also Lee Wards. I was so upset when they closed the store. I could walk there from my parents' house so I spent a lot of time there with my crafts & music. When I started cross stitch 50 years ago I could only find 14-count White aida and kits. I only stitched on 1 project at a time and now I have come a long way and now I have 36 WIP's and I try to stitch on as much as I can now that I am retired. Hope you have a Happy and Healthy New Year to you and your family. Happy Stitching.
I was so happy to join you this Sunday afternoon, between Christmas and New Years. A lovely relaxing visit with your delicious tea, your beautiful stitches, and your calming, soothing voice. I wonder if I could stitch from SABLE only🤦🏼♀️. I may give it a whirl, I know I haves many projects kitted and several wips, and only one current SAL, that I have not purchased yet, but committed to doing. Of course, you mentioned a couple SALs I want to check them out 😮! I hope to look at the floss tubes you mentioned, also, thanks.😊. I’m trying to be a little more organized with my stitching, but not rigidly scheduled…it is not a chore, but relaxation and fun. I am starting a Blessings Sampler for a January project; and I’ve put down some days that will be planned stitches, 1 SAL, 4 & 11 Patriotic, 9 Fall, 14 Love, 21 Winter or Summer solstice, 25 Christmas, 31 Halloween; all other days any of the scheduled or any other wip, etc. I attempted to do WIPGO in 2014, and was barely in the game 🤣 I haven’t figured out how I’m going to keep me accountable 😉, but chocolate or a cookie or a chocolate cookie could always be a reward‼️ Thank you for your flosstube 📺, happy stitching 🪡 , prayers 🙏🏻for what you may need in 2025, and peace🕊️for the new year. Peg 🤗💛
Re: I love fall most of all. Feel free to use a different color for the acorns. A smyrna cross is such a fun stitch! I hope you try it. Hugs and prayers are coming your way.
Hi Marcia! I may change those acorns. I want to see what they look like when a few of the other colors are present. As for the Smyrna stitches, they are fun, I have done them just as singles, though. This chart has them clustered. And I find that verrry interesting!🤔 Thanks for visiting!
Oh my goodness … Lee Ward was my favorite store ! I really like your stitching from stash idea unless something really special comes along ! Ha ha … great video
Lee Ward was so much fun! I'm glad you like the stitching from stash idea. I really do have waaaaaay too much stuff stashed! Thank you for stopping by!
I so enjoy your videos, I definitely will put your family in my prayers. I love your tea recommendations I have to have decaffeinated but the ones I have tried are all fabulous, your bags are beautiful, hope you have a wonderful new year.
I had a great time with you today. Thank you for the herbal tea info. I will be double checking with my doctor to make sure it’s okay if i take it. Happy New Year.
Leewards was a nice needlework store. Barbara, do love your Swan shirt, that are a beautiful bird. Enjoyed watching you. Watching you a wonderful New Year, Carolann saying Hi from Minnesota 😊 l always so enjoy when you share one of your wonderful tea's.
OH, please try thr Smyrna stitches. What you could do is find a piece of scrap fabric to practice specialty stitches on before doing them on the projects. That's what I have to do,as well as watch videos on how to do them. I'm a visual learner, I guess lol. Hope you are enjoying your holidays. As always, I'm enjoying watching your videos. Happy New Year to you and your family. 😊❤
Hi Melba! I have done Smyrna stitches on several pieces, they add a lovely touch. 🙂 Happy New Year to you and your family, as well. Thank you for visiting me today!
I agree with you those acorns need to be brown. I live in an area that has a lot of acorns dropping from their trees. They are brown with a darker brown cap. Sometimes the caps can be a little green through them but are usually a dark brown. Great video. Thanks. Happy Holidays!
I just found you today and I enjoyed you so much. I was frogging while I was watching you. Lol I am with you on using your stash. Looking forward to hear from you again. Enjoyed your info on tea. Thanks, I learned so much from you.
I’m so glad you found me and I am so sorry about your visit from “The Frog”🐸 He is a most unwelcome guest! Thank you for hanging out with me for a bit. Happy stitching!🪡🧵
Loved how pleased you are with your new project bags. I have to avoid hibiscus so lots of research happens with herbals. Will be trying to work from stash in 2025. I just do not like having too many wips. Fall is my season mostly, but, am enjoying doing a winter design from Cross Eyed Cricket. It will go in a display frame that allows me to change out stitches. I, too, remember LeeWard. I have a tree skirt in felt that was their pattern - which I only did up 5 years ago.
Hello, love your episodes. I am in the flew the coop Sal as well, I am stitching the swan 😊. You said so many things that are so similar to what I think and say I just had to say hello❣️ ( like you stepping out of my comfort zone) I saw your name in the live with stitching down the rabbit hole, and was gonna say hey but not sure of the etiquette in someone else’s stream hahahaha I have really enjoyed your content and look forward to more in 2025 !! Happy new year 🎊 to you and your loved ones !😊
Just found your channel. Someone mentioned you in a group on Facebook. I’m a stitcher, but have lost interest lately. Have too many unfinished projects! I think for 2025, I’ll try to stitch at least 2 days out of each week to get my interest back! Loved watching you!
Thank you for visiting! It’s so easy to get stuck with WIPs but so satisfying to finish them! I hope you get your stitchy bug back. I’m glad you enjoyed the video! Happy New Year and happy stitching!🪡🧵
I so enjoyed our time together today. Your new project bags are stunning, so happy you found them. big gratitude for your mentioning my channel, you're right we would do well together LOL. You think it and I will say it haha xoxo
Barbara, I saw a shout out for your channel on Stash Unloading channel on Facebook. You have a lovely channel, and I just subscribed. 😁 I'm a stitcher and tea drinker myself, and really enjoyed your tea segment, as well as your beautiful stitching. ❤❤
Welcome, and thank you for subscribing! I'm so glad you enjoyed the video. It’s always nice to hear from another tea drinker. What’s your favorite at the moment? Stash Unloading. I have not heard about that. It sounds great! There’s an actual site to “unload” our no longer needed/wanted items. I will have to look into that! Thanks for letting me know! Happy New Year and happy stitching!🪡🧵
@StitchingAndTeaWithB. I have my Salada tea everyday at 3 pm, my teatime. 😊 I also love the fruit tea blend I get from San Francisco Herb Co. I grow my own lemon verbena and several other herbs I harvest and dry for teas that I store. So many more!!! 😁🥰🫖
Thank you for another lovely video. I always enjoy seeing your beautiful stitching and hearing your tea recommendations. I remember Lee Wards. It was the first craft store I'd bought cross stitch supplies at when I first started stitching back in the late 70's. Happy Holidays to you and your family. You and your family are in my prayers.
I’m so glad you enjoyed the video. Thank you for your kind words and your prayers. Lee Ward was such a fun store. And their cross stitch section was very well stocked. Thank you for visiting and Happy New Year!

❤. I loved Leewards!!!! That’s where I picked up my very first cross-stitch small kit in 1982! Gosh, I just dated myself😂😂😂. Fun fact, Micheal’s purchased Leewards. The acorns do look a little neon to me as well.
Hey! No worries! I was in my second year of college in 1982! I did not know that Michael’s purchased Lee Wards! That really is a fun fact! Thank you for sharing. Yeah, those acorns. I am hoping that they “mellow” out some after I get some colors around it. We shall see. Thank you so much for stopping by. Happy New Year and happy stitching!🪡🧵
