HOW TO GIVE SOMEONE A HEADACHE, GETTING SENT FROM THE FEILD.
Mitigating factor was the player was lowering his head at the time. The difference being instead of getting it in the throat or chin he wore it on the forehead. Fair call .. OFF. Also penalties for pulling long hair should be stopped. Why should a player with long hair get an advantage just because he has grown long hair. Anything lower than the nape of the neck is fair game. If it's long then wrap it up or suffer in silence if it gets grabbed in a tackle,
Nonsense. If a player has long hair you don't grab it. If it wasn't there there'd be nothing to grab, that it is there doesn't make it fair game. There's no advantage

If the tackler is grabbing at the shoulders or lower and because the other player has long hair it is also grabbed and the tackler gets penalised which only happens because of the long hair. If a player has long hair then it must be tied up. How many penalties have been given in both the men's and women's games recently for grabbing hair by accident. That is what I am on about not just grabbing long hair. Of course there is an advantage . If a player has hair halfway down their back that means you can't tackle above that point or get penalised.
