Its awful for Rogers but if im Zach Wilson, I'm thinking this is a pivotal moment in my life/career. Not a single soul outside his circle believes he can be the guy for the Jets. Sometimes, we expect greatness, and other times, greatness is thrusted upon us. If he steps up, he will be a legend.
Agree, not a Jets fan, but I hope Zach Wilson can prove that he can be that guy. Soo many people were salivating over the idea that Rodgers was going to be a savior, and yet he hasnt been to a superbowl in 13 years. Most overhyped player in NFL history. Now people are already writing the Jets off, and the funny thing is they WON last night, against in theory a playoff team. Wilson should feel disrespected, but he also has the opportunity to prove everyone wrong.
With the right work I believe he could have a good chance! I hope this team pulls through.
Definitely documentary level stuff if Jets can rally around him and go on a playoff run. Weapons and D are definitely good enough.

@@jameshollister8294yes but in reality you just made the argument even better for Rodgers. Wide recievers have to run routes, stop and go, take more hits, all around are more athletic and agile than qbs. So if Steve Smith could come back, rodgers can easily do the same
No one has spoke about Steve Smith Sr. coming back from the same injury at 34-35 to have a good season at WR he was injured week 8 of 2015 season and was there for the first game of 2016 for Baltimore. Aaron can do it but this story ss is just sad for Jets fans and NFL fans as a whole.

I don’t think Aaron should come back. The Achilles injury is super hard to come back from. The surgery itself is brutal. I’ve seen guys fall just like he has…and it doesn’t look like much but it’s over after that.
Zach did learn to audible out of the run/throw to Wilson from Rodgers in the Giants game lol Arod threw a dime, Zach needed GW to make miraculous catch but it is something he picked up. Hopefully Arod can coach him up this year rehab and come back 😢
I’m a packer fan and I am truthfully upset with this. Hated to see him go but understood and respected his decision and destiny. I pray he gets well soon

With all the question marks of the Jets’ O-Line heading into the season, with all those fans in that stadium and watching on TV, all of whom having the exact same fear of Rodgers getting injured in the back of their minds and witnessing it come true so early on, literally only 4 snaps into the first opening drive of the season - is absolutely devastating. The football gods sure do have a dark sense of humor.

This is proof as to why you can’t let organizations waste your time man the packers literally wasted Rodgers prime and he got fed up waiting for them to build great teams around him then as he’s a game away from the superbowl these mfs decide to draft his replacement without even telling him first. They also low balled Devante Adams with their first offer which is another reason Adams decided to leave GB. Rodgers then spends the next two seasons trying to be loyal to an organization that didn’t appreciate him anymore, & clearly wanted to move on, he had to watch the entire world turn on him and call him the bad guy & selfish simply because he didn’t get vaccinated & take a paycut for a team that wasn’t putting pieces around him lmao everybody is blaming every playoff loss on him even though Adams dropped TD passes, Lazard did as well, MVS did as well, Aaron Jones fumbles against the Bucs coming out of halftime. Countless times Rodgers has carried the Packers to a score then proceeded to never even touch the ball again because the defense wasn’t good enough. Mannn I feel so bad for the guy & people always wonder why LeBron and these other stars switch teams…. Some of these organizations literally just want to make their money and have a good product on the field they could careless about an actual Super Bowl & the Packers in my opinion are one of those organizations that just want to keep a consistently good/average team out there they’re not really building to actually WIN NOW

There were plenty of times that Aaron had the ball in his hand and couldn’t get it done. Losing the NFC championship at home several times throughout his career is a prime example.
