I think this is a hot take but I kinda liked the bigger update with 25 new area each time. If you look at the past few updates you will see they came out about every 3 weeks. Now that weekly updates are back each update will have to have at least 8 new areas to have the same amount of content in 3 weeks as the big updates. If you look at the old weekly updates only the first update of the game had 8 new areas meaning that we will probably be getting less content in the 3 week period of time.

I think the player count going down was due to players checking out the game (near release date) and stop playing after not enjoying it

bro one more suggestion for pet simulator 99 is to remove stat pets from trading and selling and add them to the next update and than next updates stats pets to he next update
For example update 1 stats let they will add update 2 for trading and selling and updates 2 stats pet on update 3
Because some players just buy the stat pets and beat him in 5-1mins and than game is become boring thats why
They can keep extremely rare stat pets those who got sell for millions of gems but not cheap ones it will make players grind and they should make game little bit hard like psx because they are jsut making game easy by giving 50% more strength every update and enchants potions so they should make it little bit hard
And weekly updates And global event thing they did very good
