I have never heard before John Bonham or since that someone has such a sense of rhythm, music and groove. I have been making music and playing drums for 25 years, I have listened to many styles and many bands, many drummers Led Zeppelin are the greatest band of all time, and John is even more than that. No one has ever had so much influence on others, and I don't think they will. Wonderful ... amazing

Some bonehead got some geese as a symbol for the label. The band walked in and looked around confused. Their manager Peter Grant was pissed and immediately told someone in charge to get these fucking geese out of here! Then he told them that they all lived on farms! Ha ha! That’s LA for you.
Probably the greatest drummer of all time. Also check out Ten Years After recorded live there is a drum solo on that called The Hobbit. You might find interesting as well. All recorded on the Rolling Stone mobile the very same one mentioned in Smoke on the Water
@@GetSidewaysReacts Personally think Animal was a combination of Bonham and Ward. Neil and Moon were awesome no doubt but I do not think they embodied Animal like Ward and Bonham. Just my opinion

His sister also said, he didn’t get a half decent kit until he was 15, bet he was in his glory getting his Ludwig.
at this point in the bands history they had only sold about a bajillion records and made only a bazillion dollars so Jimmy being the frugal man that he is made John play a portion of his solos without sticks to save a little money.
@@GetSidewaysReacts he really was incredible!!! he had a play on bill wards kit and broke it haha. i think it was bill who said they were messing about and he was just inhuman! he was doing metal speed merchant stuff decades before them with only a basic kit and a single bass drum!! he very briefly used a double with zeppelin but they threw 1 of them in a river because he was just too fast! haha

It’s YES: DRAMA, one of my favorite records. By the way LED ZEPPELIN is my favorite band, RUSH a close second so you know I’m serious when it comes to this stuff. Robert Plant live 6 times, RUSH live 18 times. I know what I’m talking about. The Drama album is way under known and is very dynamic. It’s a stand alone, very Rock, unique record and the only one without Jon Anderson. By the way, YES live 6 times. I don’t recommend bad music EVER!

I would say that if Animal was not modeled after Bonham then it would have to be Bill Ward or a combination of the two. Neil was awesome no doubt, but not as much of an animal as Ward and Bonham, in my humble opinion. He was arguably just as good, just not as much of animal if that makes sense.
