I wept when I stepped foot in the temple again. Thank you for your wisdom and knowledge.

When the Casper Wyoming Temple was announced it's a good thing I was not in the Conference Center because I stood in the middle of the living room and shouted PRAISE THE LORD! I then cried. It has been steadily going up over the past 15 months, though some opposition has begun lately. We as an LDS community are fasting and praying that the construction will get back on track. Yes the closure of temples during Covid was a sore trial and how happy we are they are opened again. I love the temple! Thanks for this.

Bro. Pettit. You must spend a great amount of time preparing these lessons for us that so greatly enhance our studies. I can't thank you enough for that, and someday the Lord will thank you in person. Our temple in Mesa, Arizona, will see more of my wife and me.

I paused your lesson and called of friend of mine and asked to be included the next time she and another friend of ours they go to the Temple.
I am fortunate to live in one of the cities President Nelson announced will have a Temple built in it.
I couldn't believe my ears. I had been hoping for a long time that a Temple would be built near me! When he said Austin, Texas, I immediately texted my granddaughter to see she had heard and she had. I can hardly wait.
When I first got lived in Austin, we had to travel 18 hours to attend the Mesa Temple. Then came the Dallas Temple then the Houston Temple and then San Antonio. The Temple became easier and easier to attend. NOW when the Austin Temple is finished, I will able to attend as often as I want to.
My husband and I were sealed in the Oakland Temple in 1968. He has pasted away and I look forward to reunited with him. Thank you.

I’m so glad for you. I hope this doesn’t happen to you, but when we got a temple in my city, Edmonton, AB, Canada, I got a new kind of opposition to going to the temple: my busy schedule exploded, and it was nearly impossible to attend! This has never gone away. I do make time to go to the temple, but because I’m so busy, I often get drowsy during the sessions. It’s hard to get a deep, spiritual connection when you are sleepy! The adversary is so persistent… but I continue attending out of sheer obedience, if necessary.

I love the temple! My husband and I were ordinance workers in the Orlando temple for about 3 years. I miss that. But now we live 3 hours away. I was so excited to hear the announcement of the Tampa temple! One hour closer!

We are so excited in Northwest Arkansas..soon our Bentonville Temple will be finished and open to the public. I’m hoping many will feel the spirit of the temple even before it is dedicated to the Lord.

When they announced the Oslo, Norway Temple, I texted all of my Norwegian friends in Stavanger: “New Temple announced in Oslo!” It was about Midnight their time. Some replied, “Is it real, or a joke?” They couldn’t believe it. They are currently traveling 14 hours to Stockholm, Sweden. Now it will be 7 hours by train in their own country. 😇

Love your presentations Tom. This one was hard to hear though because of the microphone I presume. We missed some important parts. Thanks for your time.

I worry about how graven the image of the temple has become. We designate covenants as belonging to the temple in speech patterns while stripping the fact that they actually belong to the Father, and we rich only have need of building temples. We know how hard it is for the rich to enter the kingdom of God, so where does that put us? Why do we mock the great plan of redemption and mercy of Christ by violating Moroni 8:22 and doing massive amounts of baptisms and endowments for many who died without law and are under no condemnation? Truly the words of Isaiah 1 are being fulfilled as we latter-day saints tread the courts of the temple and have forgotten our Maker. What an awful situation we are in and must awaken to. We LDS have great need of repentance to turn away from the idolatry that our very own leaders have led us into very much like Aaron of old with the people of Israel.

Acts 7:48 However, the most high do not live in temples made by human hands. Heaven is my throne and earth is my footstool. Could you build a temple as good as that? ask the Lord. Jesus Christ is our mediator, we do not need temples to reach God, we have Jesus. The church of Christ grew rapidly for centuries after Christ's resurrection, Christ never allowed his church to be dissolved. Acts 9:31 Then the churches throughout all Judea, Galilee, and Samaria had peace and were edified. And walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, they were multiplied. God edified His churches, they may have been in homes and dwellings other than a church but God's church has always existed and always will exist.
