I'm of Irish descent, my husband is Hispanic and his family is from Chihuahua two generations ago. We call our daughter a "leprecana". Our wedding 33 years ago was a blast: mariachis and a bagpiper, tequila and Irish whisky, Guinness and Harp, Corona and DOS Equiis. Two massive families, 7 priests on the altar, and a three day long party.
We got everyone back together again for our 30th anniversary and there were even more babies and toddlers and rugrats, and it was another heck of a party. Our families really like each other and totally get each other. Fluent in sarcasm, snappy with the comebacks, and emotional when they drink. Lol
☘️☘️☘️☘️🇮🇪🇲🇽🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇵🇹 Update to our family story. Our gorgeous, brilliant Leprecana just got herself engaged to a very handsome, very intelligent young man of half Portuguese, half Scottish descent. Like God shook the box and went just one country over to make a partner. His family is not quite as big, but after she graduates from medical school next December, there’s going to be another massive wedding. She’s the last of the grandchildren since I’m the youngest of the 11 kids, and she’s everyone’s favorite, so we’ve already started planning. Cheers, everyone, Salut and Sláinte!!!

Then the jewish socialist took power with el PRI during the 20-30 and went after Catholics/Christians, Irish, hermana/dutch, french, chinese/japanese settlers from the raíl roadd. Pushing for pogroms. And later would commit genocide. Massacres everywhere. In the "Guerra's Christeras".
Finance by Jewish bankers and families. With the support of USA admin of the time. And crown in UK.
And they did it as well years prior con los Hacendados. In order to repoces and take land from people. So I laugh at the irony when they say "never again".
As they commit massacres. While playing the part of the victim. They did it in Mexico and throughout Latin America. They did it in Russia and Ukraine. Before and during the great Wars and wanted to do it un Europe. But somehow find a way to insert themselves in other peoples suffering. All those forgotten souls because they have great PR, gaslight and have there *scolors and professor re-write the history.
They will like to say that they were persecuted. Mean while they would becomes heads of state, become judges and government positions bases on who you know and what your are. One of the reasons they are so pissed of right now in México b/c some of those positions will be voted in now. (Mind you with new morena juus admin that got installed I dought anything will change. They are pushing the same rethoric. Selling the country to foreign entities and talking about NO PRIVATE land ownership. And reposses people wealth. Yeah ok. I know what that rethoric causes.)
Anytime someone has the balls to call them out for it. They try and remove there whole line from existance. And play the victim.
Edit: large portion of my father's side died martors during that time. Yes we had an Hacienda. Yes we own large portions of land. But never own no slaves. The people were treated right. And because the family participated in having a "underground railroad", in the sense and hiding people from the church or protecting villages. Many where tortured, made to March with there plants of there feet sliced of for miles before they where raped, shot, hanged, ripped appart, etc. Many atrocious things done. To them b/c of there fate.
They escaped religious persecution in Europe back in the 1600, same as 1700-1800. In Germany and France. And would settle in Mexico. Only to deal with the same ilk. That does the same thing every where every 100 years. Anytime it back fires on them. They are ready to play th e part of the victim.
I say NO ONE FORGET WHO BACKED IT. AND WHO PUSHED FOR IT. Socialist Juus and South Mexican lazy useful idiots. Gentiles as they'd like to call them.

As a Mexican, I feel guilty every time someone mentions the Mexican-American war and the Irish role in it.
I don’t think we’ve done enough to acknowledge what the Irish did for us. The whole country needs to be aware about it and proper homages to Ireland need to be presented.

Both Irish and Spanish people share Celtic ancestors. In the case of Spain, about half of the Iberian Peninsula was populated by Celtic tribes (not only Galicia, all the North and a great part of Castilla and León).
What part of Spain did the Irish come from?
    northern Spain
All probably originally came to Ireland on boats from northern Spain. Our closest relatives are found in various parts of Galicia and the Basque country according to genetic studies led by Prof Dan Bradley of Trinity College Dublin's Smurfit Institute of Genetics.

      Latin what? What Latin?
The entelechies of Latin America, Latam, etc. have never existed... outside of the delusions of black legends.
      BECAUSE:
The only Latins that have existed are four ancient peoples of Mediterranean EUROPE: the Italians, the Dacians, the Gauls and the Hispanics. In the current: Italy, Romania-Moldavia, France-Belgium, Spain and Portugal. There were not, nor are there or will there be other Latins.
And those ancient Europeans, Latins, DISAPPEARED, forever, in the distant Ancient Age, a long time ago (back in the beginning of the 5th century). America and Americans will emerge on another continent much later, already in the Modern Age (at the end of the 15th century) when the Spanish discovered the New World. Until that moment, neither America nor Americans existed, they were: Incas, Olmecs, Quechuas, Guaranis, Aztecs, Tlaxcalans, Otomis, Totonacs, Tarascans, Chichimecas, etc. etc.
Saying Latin American is an obvious FALSEHOOD and an IMPOSSIBLE, it is an oxymoron:
      - or he was Latin, in which case there were still many centuries to go before another continent was discovered that would be called America and the Americans,
      - or he was American, in which case he could never have met Latins who were from Europe and had disappeared more than a THOUSAND years before.
The Spaniards who arrived in America had stopped being Latin long before, after three centuries of Germanic invasions and domination and more than seven centuries of Arab invasion and domination. The Americans emerged from the fusion of the Spaniards (not Latin for more than 10 centuries) with the Native Americans
Where, when, how? There is no Latin or Latinos in the American equation... NEVER, except in the delusions of the black legends.
They are HISPANIC AMERICANS from HISPANIC AMERICA or Latin America.
      BECAUSE:
1.- they were SPANIARDS, HISPANICS, not Latinos, who
      - discovered America,
      - HISPANICIZED it, not Romanized it,
      - integrated it into the HISPANIC empire, not the Latin empire
      - SPANISHIZED it, not Latinized it.
      - left their Christian faith, not the pagan polytheistic Latin faith.
2.- they were HISPANICS, not Latinos, who share centuries of common history with the Americans and together shed blood in common enterprises.
3.- it was Americans who became SPANIARDS, not Latinos, for centuries.
4.- It was HISPANICS, not Latinos, who MIXED, forever with the Americans.
5.- America is full of more than ONE THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED cities, hundreds of ports, dozens of universities, temples, cathedrals, aqueducts, schools, highways, hospitals, dozens of world heritage sites, etc. all founded by Spaniards, not by Latinos of whom there is not, and cannot be, a single remnant or ruin.
6.- A large part of the gastronomy, music, costumes, traditions, "American" are of Hispanic origin, not Latino.
The terms latam, Latin America, etc. are a recent INVENTION (late 19th century) of political propaganda to DECEIVE and UPROOT, with great success as it seems, the Hispanics. Then in the middle of the 20th century the USA took up the terms to DISCRIMINATE against the Hispanics.

      Latin what?

      Latin what?

You can even get some people from India with red hair but of course highly unusual. There was a newspaper article about an Indian girl with natural red hair. The fact that it was news shows how unusual it is there. It's a recessive trait and can pop up anywhere. In some populations it would definitely not be an asset because inheriting red hair also increases inability to tan so a skin cancer risk.

The Irish and Scots are sometimes stereotypically portrayed as redheaded. People associate being Celtic with Irish and Scots. My comment was pointing out it isn't a pan-Celtic thing to be redheaded. My other comment is to say you can't associate having red hair with any particular population. It is just more common in some populations more than others. It's like how some people associate having blond hair with Viking ancestry. Silly really.
