Hi ,i already done 1460 kilometer in my new model 3 standard highland and my consumption average is 130 wh/km
Sorry I am new to ev’s and I have ordered a SR Highland. You mention 130 wh/hr. Do you mean kWh/100km ?? Interest to know real world consumption
@@jameetel he meant Wh/km. 130Wh/km are meaning 13kWh/100km. The whole 100km stuff is because we're used to that reference from the past. I'd say currently everything less than 20kWh/100km is good. Real world consumption is dependent on many things. weather (rain, wind and more), driving speed, power loss (heat) of the drivetrain and battery, AC, cw value. Especially the new model 3 has a really low consumption.
@@dominolehmann8227 thanks, appreciated.
@@dominolehmann8227 True,i can say that if you want to get even lower than 130 drive in the high way in auto steering around 100 km/hrs, in Israel we are currently the weather is not hot somewhere around 20c and i have done in one of my trip 120 WH/KM
@@jameetel YES ,i meant 130 Wh/KM,
so, if you take the battery 60000 wh and divide it with 130 you will get 460 km easy
Hi, love your video. Would love to see the comparison video of the Highland 3 vs your Model Y and all the differences between them. Thank you
I hear many people complain about the wipers and the missing rain sensor. Have you encountered this issue? If yes, can you please share what is the problem, exactly?
In my experience the automatic wipers are okay but sometimes they are slow to turn on or they turn on in the summer (usually if there's a lot of dust on a country road). Tesla has said that they are working on vastly improved automatic wiper software as part of their FSD (Full Self Driving - the successor to autopilot) work. There's no fundamental reason that they can't perfect auto wipers without a rain sensor - you use your eyes to determine when to use the wiper, the computer can do the same. Auto parking, auto high beam lights, and auto wipers just haven't been a priority, but that doesn't mean that these won't be improved via a software update.
They should have made the blindspot warning a bit bigger. It looks tiny and barely noticeable. What do you think Dan? A night drive demonstrating the blindspot would be nice, hopefully some day you can show it while on another night drive. Can you buy speed boost for it yet?
I love the way you pronounce "consumption".
I love this however can you do one of this same video with the rwd lfp battery one?
Thanks a Lot! In Summer, i think, 15,5!
Nice video,thank Dan ❤
Yea thanks for making this I was looking for this
Care to test it without the wheel covers? Keep up the good work!
love the red colour.
Mister Bump to inflate the tires should not be difficult!
Wow buttons for everything! Not sure about the indicators. Stunning interior , better thsn previously. My only concern is the boot size and shape
😁
I had no problems with the indicators after just driving for a few mins. But when I switched back to my Model 3 and Model S I tried to use the non existing buttons on the wheel :D
@@dominolehmann8227 so you think button indicators will be better once you get used to the concept?
You get used pretty easily. Test drove it last Saturday and it took me less than a minute to figure it out. It obviously it's difficult in roundabouts, but it gets easier if you "plan" the move In advance@@willielarsson9651
When are you going to compare IT with your model Y ?
Good job 👍, now because of you, I really wanna buy this car, same colour 😅
If you can live with the issues this car brings with its auto wipers not working, Tesla Vision inaccuracy when parking and bad drive train (breaks and ball joint issues) then u have a good EV. Also remember that Tesla‘s have the worst resale value on the market as Tesla continues to drop it’s vehicle prices.
I agree with the resale value, this is terrible, but I can live with the rest...
@@frederic9430Don't listen to that pedipedi guy, he's in all the comments bullshitting. Tesla resale value is decent, it only looks bad cause they raised prices a ton when demand outpaced supply significantly, then lowered them back once production caught up. There may be price cuts or raises in the future, but I'd expect them to be relatively minor.
What model of winter tyres did the car have?
What if you drive at 140/150 km/h what are the consumption?
Around 200kwh
@SDADanCars Bro what does 200kwh mean? Did you mean 200 kwh/100km? (but I don't think because it would mean the range was 25km
I sat in one on the weekend. Interior is a bit nicer for sure. Exterior is quite dull though.
How Many KM Tesla Model 3 Highland Long Range can travel in full charge?
Looks like I’m on the Xbox watching this.
This car had Enhanced Autopilot, right? That's why it was changing lanes automatically.
This not how you should check your consumption. You should show us the input KWH from the charger, not the (fake) car's value.
Thanks for feedback 👍🙏
177wh/km is 3.5miles/kwh, that's pretty bad
My 2020 Bolt EV has averaged 3.5.miles/kWh over the last 25,000 miles.
What was at 120km/h consumption ? you said average was 177Wh/km , but I guess at 120km/h should be about 215Wh/km
Nooo with my fat Model Y I get 16,5 kWh/100km
@@TheBOSS-gz3eo 16,5kWh/100km ok but Never at 120km/hour speed
@@2kMariodepending on outside temp I got my 23 Y Lr to 18.5 kWh/100 at 120 with 21 degrees outside
@@jeroenachten8513 :) :)
I’m 😂 but I need to correct you. A HUD is not a significant piece of hardware as you describe. Please do your research. A HUD system is about as big as your phone. I’ve also tested the highland on twisting Swiss roads and it sucks. Way too soft and very little steering feedback. Feels like a boat swaying from corner to corner. Not very confident inspiring but ideal for non spirited driving. For anyone wishing to drive this car hard through mountain pass regions in Switzerland, don’t!! You will have break fade after three corners. The breaks on this car as good or worse than a Dacia Logan. This car is definitely made for relaxed driving and not for spirited driving. I hope they do significant work on the suspension, breaks and steering for the performance addition so that the car can be compared to its ICE competitors when it comes cornering confidence and feel. Please show your viewers how Tesla Vision does not work in the rain and parking.
This is not a sports car, so why are you expecting sports performance? A Porsche will do great on mountain roads, that's a sports car.
@@David_PolakThis car has over 340hp and can go under 5 sec to 100kph. So it has the power of a BMW M3 but has the handling of Dacia Logan. Why all the performance and the handling of a Mercedes of the 80s? I just don’t get it!
@@pedipedi9559 American cars are made for straight-line speeds. That's why dragstrips are popular. No cornering needed.
@@David_Polak You said it! Not a car for good European roads and definitely not for spirited driving.
this is such a bullshit comment. Every review says the Tesla handles great and has good suspension now in the updated version.
Consumul e cam mare cu 17kWH la 100km.
