- In this video I demonstrate the Bissell Revolution 2X Pet Pro carpet washer on hat looks like a fairly clean carpet.

Great demo of a great machine. Bissell vacuums are essentially disposable appliances and not very good, but their carpet/upholstery washers are among the best non-commercial machines money can buy in my opinion.
definitely i have both the little green and the spot clean pro heat and they clean amazing. i will clean my floors, sofa, mattresses. i love them.
@@lyssamariev they are both great machines. I have a few bissell cleaners, but my favorite is my big green professional. For stairs, or car upholstery, the little green, or spotclean are the perfect match.
Anyone think of Buzz lightyear because of the little colour accents? 😄

yeah i think il get this over the shark one two brush rolls that clean the carpet better and as i have a dog that makes a mess everywhere i do have the bissel cross-wave pet i use to have a bissel advance carpet cleaner but the belt snapped after 3 years of use and i tryed to get into it to change belt but had no luck in getting in so we just took it down the skip instead becasue they front suction plate had a crack in it as well and no matter how meny times i tryed to glue it back together it would come apart again and it was to big and bulky and the clean water and dirty water where both in one bucket so emptying the dirty water all so emptied the clean water as well
I like the new machine a lot as my Bissell is from 2007 and I don't like the tank in tank design. Too bad they don't have a rinse option on their machines with the auto mix then I might upgrade. I guess I could do another pass with water after but hate walking on wet rugs.
Sometimes I do a rinse a day or two later after the carpet has dried, but the Bissell solution that has a fabric protector is designed to be left without rinsing.

A very good presentation of the carpet cleaner.
Your videos are well presented and audio is perfect.
Some people have background music which does not help.
I have looked at your video of the VAX Platinum PowerMax.
How does the BISSELL ProHeat 2X Revolution Pet Pro compare as regards water recovery.
Is it better on the BISSELL?
I am considering which one to purchase.
Both machines have extended hoses which are suitable for car valeting.

Great video, Roger. I didn’t think it looked that dirty, before you cleaned it. Is this your carpet cleaner if choice?
What can i do if dirty water isn’t going into the lower canister. Also where is the water going? Leaving dirt in the carpet?
If the water is emptying out of the clean water tank, then it’s going on your carpet. If the machine is not sucking up the water from the carpet, check that the clear front nozzle is properly located, the port for the hose is closed, the dirty water tank is fitted properly to the machine and the black stopper at the back of the dirty tank is properly closed.

Edit: It worked! I needed to secure the port for the hose. It kept falling off so I was working without it. But I finally got it on right and voila! Thanks again.

Yeah, I love kärchers
They are best known for their high pressure washers but they have some great vacuum cleaners, too. I have the WD 3 wet and dry vacuum.
Random question I have a Henry vaccum.. But I want to know is it worth getting a George to do washing and vaccuming. Or better to get a separate machine (note I live in a small city centre apartment hence why I'm trying to find a 2 in 1 machine if possible unless they are poor quality eg lot better to get separate)
A George with all the accessories takes up a fair amount of room and is a bit inconvenient to use in my opinion. Probably better off keeping the Henry and buying a compact upright carpet washer.

I go over the area with plain warm water after cleaning and the machine still pulls out more dirt.

Well I must have bought a lemon ! The upholstery attachment does not seem to work anywhere near as good as yours ! To get the water flowing I have to have cleaner higher to gravity feed ! There has to something wrong with mine!
I have one of these and it really does clean the carpet very well much better than my vax spin scrub, my only problem with it is it leaves the carpets a bit to wet compared to the vax, so I will most likely be buying a George to finish up after the bissell.

I bought a Bissell Pro Heat X2 Revolution just before covid and used it about a dozen times. It was always thoroughly cleaned after ever use and I loved it as it cleaned beautifully, but then it started to smell of smoke and packed up. The belts were in tip top condition so I've lost a bit of faith in Bissell . I've watched this video and several others, because I need to purchase a new machine, so am comparing. Don't know if I was just unlucky with my machine.

I'm amazed how little water it uses.
It uses more water than it appears in the video which is edited. For a quick clean, I just use one wet forward pass which reduces the solution use and doesn’t wet the carpet as much.

Thank you very much for such informative videos. You have reviewed both i.e. Bissell ProHeat 2x Revolution Pet Pro and Rug Doctor Deep Cleaner. Could you please advice which one do you think is better than the other. I mean if you have to choose one for yourself which one would that be from these two. Actually I am very confused b/w these two and your opinion will help me a lot to decide. Hope to hear from you soon. Thanks
I only have the Rug Doctor (Red Model) from the machines mentioned as it does a better job, especially at drying the carpet.
Little tip, carry on washing the carpet with the cut out valve active, even if it means pre filling the waste tank, this allows you to still dump solution on the brushes and have a more thorough deep clean without sucking the solution up just a few seconds later, letting the agent and heated water work on the carpet, give the carpet 5-10 minutes then fill the clean water tank with clean warm water and then use 2 pass technique.
Using the machine with the cut out valve closed will put a strain on the motor causing it to overheat as there will be no air flowing through the motor. If you want to pretreat an area without the machine sucking up the water, just open the hose port.

It doesn’t look like any Dyson I own, though it looks very like a Vax/Hoover model that was launched after the Bissell.
