Thank you for sharing. We were in Tibet in October 1999 and went in from Nepal traveling through your route where noting was modernized. The scenery was much more organic and purer. To the Westerns, that lake is the Turquoises Lake where we went down to the lake and soaked our feet in the lake. That was the trip of my life time and I miss and dream of being in Tibet again and again!
