At least your the first person on the damn internet to finally have an audio clip of the nameless exhaust on the impreza rs. I am absolutely pleased with the notes it makes. 800 dollars going down the drain for my car
@@RyanHarveyphotosame thing but with my whole family but mostly my brothers. They think I am crazy and don't need an exhaust I say otherwise, car just doesn't sound good with stock exhaust at all. At least you have a white one like I do for the impreza. We men can't resist STI parts either
Is there anything you guys can do to get 200 ho out of it and some more foot pounds? The exhaust is epic and I will be ordering one great job with that!
Thank you very much for this video! I have been looking for an upgrade and just happened to see this video. Just purchased one with the Neochrome tips for my 24 Impreza RS. Is there any other upgrade you recommend for 24 Impreza RS lol ??
Thanks for sharing. There's not a lot of videos with good audio clips of the Nameless exhausts. I love mine on my 2020 Sport. Just some clarifications, though: There is no downpipe in this kit. A downpipe refers to the exhaust pipe coming out of a turbo, which the Impreza does not have. This kit is an axleback with the dual mufflers. As I understand it, the S/I mode on the Impreza only changes throttle input values, as exemplified in the little graph it shows when you switch modes. It doesn't change fuel mapping/mixture nor CVT "shifting" points, but rather acts like you're pressing the gas pedal more than you are (and pressing more on the gas at any particular speed/load can change how the CVT "shifts"). I had a Yamaha motorcycle with a similar throttle setting feature. I'm curious how you both feel about it several months later. I still love mine, but my wife doesn't like driving my car because of it.
We still love it. In our experience, the s mode definitely changes the cvt. I know when slowing down from a higher rate of speed, it keeps you around 3k to alllow for quicker acceleration. I dont think the I mode does that.
@@RyanHarveyphoto Manually changing "gears" with the paddles can also help keep the rpms up when driving aggressively. The Impreza is short on power, so keeping the engine spinning within its optimum power band makes the drive a lot more fun.
Just picked one of these up Friday. Any noticeable performance difference from these? I not axle backs don’t do much but this is actually pretty sweet looking
im wondering i believe its the same CVT as 2018- version so it works during traffic or short parts of cities that is constantly like goind to 2nd and back to 1st? and other question is the really affect Gas mileage? or not
It is a CVT. Depending on how you drive and if in sport mode when make it less droney around the 2K RPM level. Nameless also makes one with a hemholtz resonator that helps with this. Gas mileage is probably worse but no fault of the exhaust - we just probably drive with a higher RPM to hear it haha
I use to be a Subaru service advisor for 15 years. It wouldnt mess up your warranty unless we found an issue that was in relation to the aftermarket exhaust.
if it were a catback, it would have as much stainless steel as the fridge...not to shabby. anything to improve the experience. needs gold 5-spokes to be a "true" RS... 🏁

I told my wife “ we have to do this - nobody knows yet!”

Haha. My wife wants an older STI bad now
I ordered mine last month, got the dual chamber one with exacutive tips for the rs, should be shipping out anyday now.
@@XTC42863 that’s awesome
Looks like my RS will get some new pipes this year !! Thank you for the video
Nice!
@@RyanHarveyphoto I ordered mine this week! I went with the Nameless Quad outlet dual chamber!
Awesome video, hopefully you make more on the RS. I Can’t wait to get the new exhaust
Yessir!
I think it's dope. I was worried it would make the car sound ricey, but this seems to add substance to driving it.
Agree - was worried it would sound “fart can” ish. Not at all
@@RyanHarveyphoto Was glad to read your comment, just ordered one.
Glad you’re enjoying it!! Will have our dev car back in soon - what should we develop next?
Great edit, btw!
Thanks we are! Man I dunno! Surprise us!

Develop a catback for the sport version! I'm sure the RS and Sport are exactly the same though...
Appreciate the vid so much!
Looks and sounds great!!!
Also great pic with the pups LOL

Not really that I know of. We have cosmetic plans (painted calipers, mud flaps, roof rack, rear spoiler) but that’s about it.
Sounds amazing! Love the exhaust notes it is putting out.
That sounds awesome!
What did you torque the new bolts to? I can’t find it in Nameless’s site and I have one coming in in a few weeks.
Didn’t measure but probably ~35ftlb
That’s probably too tight.

Do rhey have that for crosstrek? 2024. Can you add a link? Sounds good looks good
Yes - shop.namelessperformance.com/2024-crosstrek-exhaust
@RyanHarveyphoto did you get the one for 649 or the 749. Is yours the louder one ? The more expensive one seems like it's a little quiter
@RyanHarveyphoto thank you
I liked your video! Very nicely done 😅 and very complete. What ramps did you use? I have never had good results from using ramps.
They are just rhino gear rhino ramps
@@RyanHarveyphoto Thank you Ryan. Got my NameLess exhaust some ramps and chocks. So I’’m ready to go.
Awesome video! I wonder is there any noise issue while driving on the hwy?
It is louder no doubt. Their Helmholtz version is supposed to be quieter at the 2K highway speed.
A proper Subaru sound!
Someone should make a dual that fits the shape of the left and right cutouts that are already there - just above where these end up.
The borla and the nameless sound similar, great job 👍👍
nice sound!
Just picked one of these up Friday. Any noticeable performance difference from these? I not axle backs don’t do much but this is actually pretty sweet looking
No - you just drive faster because you can hear it now haha

That was unexpected for Impreza to have aftermarket support other than mudflaps or all weather rubber mats!
Nameless for the win!
Is the executive sound too loud in the cab? I got the 5 inch and it’s a little too much for me
It is louder in the cab. The hemholtz version may be worth looking at if that concerns you.
I’m reading a lot about a drone at 2k rpms with this exhaust. have you found this to be annoying?
I was worried about that too with this CVT transmission - haven’t noticed it being an issue.
@@RyanHarveyphoto that’s awesome news. Thank you
I feel like you need to cut spaces for those tips. Could melt, but also looks slightly odd without the spaces for the tips lol, but sounds good!
Yeah makes you want that WRX rear look
@@RyanHarveyphoto definitely woulda looked better with the WRX diffuser and hood
Sound good
Does Modifying exhaust voids the warranty? thanks
No.
Nice job.
Thanks!
Does this also work with the Impreza sport?
As far as I know they are all the same. Nameless can help you there.
Not a huge fan of axleback but not bad.
Definitely shaved some pounds off by getting rid of the stock muffler
Understand we were trying not to mess with the cat because of warranty right now
I use to be a Subaru service advisor for 15 years. It wouldnt mess up your warranty unless we found an issue that was in relation to the aftermarket exhaust.
Sounds good but as a 2024 crosstrek owner I can say that the cvt shifting makes it sound so weird😭
I know - I wish it was a manual 😩
sounds great! imagine manual tho 😢
Where did you get the part from
shop.namelessperformance.com/axleback-exhaust-2024-impreza-quad-exit-executive-5-muffler/

I bet I could get her to go for the gold wheels
Does it feel faster?
I dunno - makes you want to drive faster to hear it.
Any concern about the quad tips melting the bumper?
I don’t think so - could ask Nameless.
Tax money this year going to new pipes. Working is hard for these car parts
I haven't bought the car and I'm looking at exhaust...
Haha
Still under warranty? I’ve been waiting for this video!
Upgrades like these don’t void warranty.
😬
i wish this car was manual
We all do 😩
Music is bleh and too loud. Otherwise a great video.
Agree - whoever picked out the music is tasteless
