Wasn't it put out years ago they were making a film. Cast and everything. I maybe wrong. Film never materialised though. A bit like perfectly rolled Matador. Never seen it lol.
This is what got my hyped to play DV1 it was great way to market the game I wish more games did the same I bought the special watch edition because of this 😂

There are 3 other parts. For a total of 4 parts, one for each "player" in a team of 4. A medic short, a fire fighter short, and a girlfriend short, then there is this short for the "leader". I use quotes cuz really any of the 4 could be a leader at any time.

I started playing The Division 1 with a new agent about a week ago. Loving every minute of it.

Everett (the medic) was my favorite...Daryll came in a close 2nd place though! Four episodes to the mini-series, each following a member of the cell; Jon (leader with the wife & kid), Daryll (the NYFD firefighter), Everett (medic) and Mia (sharpshooter), This series was SO dayum good for being a throw-together promo thing by Ubi...If Rawson Thurber's take on The Division can't stand beside (or better, surpass) Agent Origins...my heart will legit break!
OMG! I got the serious feels from watching this! I mean, to play the division and to see it play out with live action, and the acting!
I saw this back in 2016 on amazon prime. It's only 30min, and they still have it up.
Yeah I loved watching all these Div 1 shorts. I wished they did the same with Div 2, I would love to see the aftermath of it all. I think there was one that is either a spliced together or edited into one continuous short film. I think I like Mia's section the best, the crazy conspiracy theory friend. That is gold right there. They should get the guys who did these shorts to do the film, I wouldn't mind if they used no name actors, just make it feel more real.
I work for a company that deals with movies and TV dhows. We just worked on fallout. I told my boss, " if we work on the division movie" I wanna be an extra.

This brings back so many memories! And that was when I thought that a movie would come out during that time. That was just how good this short was.
It pains me to know cars ARE NOT good cover. But its easy to ignore because this is dope. I want more asap
For me, the creation of Division 1 was so impactful, we were introduced to the universe with so much immersion that I don't think any other sequel will be able to match. I really hope for a remake of the original game, as well as other spin-offs in which parallel stories to the original Division 1 are told, in NY and surrounding areas.

Imagine, they are fighting against rogue agents... It's a movie about how normal agents turn into rogue agents... This is much more than a game...
Imagine you could move the car as cover while gunning through in the game would have been phenomenal, just small environment interactions like this gives the game life.

I remember hearing this somewhere, but there was a Division TV show planned by Netflix in 2019, but COVID hit and tv show that revolves around a pandemic would have backlash on the real world. That and/or Covid closed down the entire production or people lost interest in it because the show was pretty much shelved and never mentioned again
