    Jared's heart is not into it simple as. As talented as he is he still hasnt fought anybody good. He was supposed to fight unbeaten Kossabuski but that fight was cancelled due to visa problems, the next fight it was Efe Ajagba who got to fight Kossabuski. Charles Martin exposed him, he got hit far to easy. By now he should have fought a Mahkmudov, Kossabusky, Ajagba or Sanchez but hes till hasnt. Daniel Dubois would be a good test.

    Stacey is on the mark with his comments about fighting. Jared Anderson is very one dimensional and has very little movement. He needs guys to stay in front of him and fight. Guys that move around and box him will get exposed. Time will tell but I agree with Stacey on his assessment of Jared Anderson.

  • @WattUNeed
    @WattUNeed หลายเดือนก่อน +8

    Mr McKinley with all due respect Chris Algeri has a Masters Degree in Nutrition comes from a middle class family where he had the option to continue in another career which he now does & there was no quit in him. Some fighters were born to fight. Devin Haney was born into money. Dev does not have to box but he was born to do boxing. I do agree how Jared is speaking is not how a future heavyweight legendary champ speaks but it is a growth process for some you know and it is up to you as a coach to encourage the youngster to go on not hate on him. Andre Ward lost his way and went back to the streets, Mayweather went astray in the amateur days went on the streets for a bit all fighters have those stories man where they question themselves being in the sport. Jared is having this at the pro level early in his career. the old guard has to help refocus the mindset of a broken fighter...that is why Church was in the Haney camp to keep Haney focus and push him forward keeping him hungry...it depends on the team you have around you. Some people are naturally built different but you got to see that a lot of fighters go through this.

      I think this is more mckinley not being able to coach these types of people. For whatever reason there are a ton of coaches who think like that. Why get the most out of one thing as opposed to getting the most out of life? Thats all Jared is saying. He wants to do other things and for the sake of his mental health, he should find things that peak his interest so that when the time comes all he would need to do is exactly what he trained. He wont think about abything but his gameplan and with that he will become champion of the world. Alot of coaches talk about the mental game but know very little when it comes to building somebody up mentally. I refused to believe being in a perpetual state of poverty is the only thing that can motivate someone to fight. We are all fighting different battles that require you to be tough. He just needs to figure out what his battle is and work on changing his gameplan

    The reason he won’t quit is because he has no alternative means of making comparable money, even at his current fringe level status. I don’t see him as a future world champ, regardless. Maybe he could have success at a lower weight, but I think he gets bullied by the the top talent in the division. I like his chances at bridgerweight more.
