Thanks for acknowledging the lack of tutorial. I think self discovery is important in games and it’s a very amazing thing, but when you are spending too much time confused, and when you have to look to other resources, such as looking online or asking friends, that’s when the immersion is lost, and the experience is dampened, especially in the opening hours of a game.
You might be correct about HandHeld mode but when you compare this to Jurassic Park, Park Builder on the GBA, the closest concept to this game ON THE GO, Handheld Gaming has come a long way!
I think that out of all the Nintendo based TH-cam channels your reviews are the best. Detailed and nuanced. Keep up the good work. I am downloading this asap.
Yes! My seven year old son is obsessed with dinos. He finished LEGO Jurassic Park on Vita and is nearly finished it on Switch. I realize, he won’t be able to play this game, but I think he and I can build a park together. I was worried this port wouldn’t be up to standard. Glad to hear it runs well.

Bad looking handheld, I’ll pass. It’s the main advantage of playing on switch, if it’s to play docked, i’ll get it either on steam or ps4. Really nice review as usual ✌️

I have a switch lite so I will wait and see if they upgrade the graphics before I purchase it.

Shame it looks so bad in handheld :( I'm like a 95 percent handheld player... Looks so fun though! Happy they brought it to the switch!

I loved Civilization 6 but it was waaaay too complicated so how is this game!? I don't want to spend hours on TH-cam watching tutorials 🤔😄

I haven't played a Jurassic game (other than the arcade game) since the super NES game.
That being said... basically it looks like Roller Coaster Tycoon with dinos. Nice.
I'll probably pick it up later when it's in sale.
