So, fun thing about the pepperbox. everyone, even Percy, thought the six barrel was to shoot himself. But in reality it's a reference to the fact that The List is never over, there will always be new names.

Couple of (non spoilery) fun facts about the source material: 1) In DnD Bards (like Scanlan) have an ability called 'Vicious Mockery' which basically allows them to inflict damage by insulting people. Scanlan has, on occasion, used this to deal the death blow to an enemy. 2) In the original campaign the enemies they fought in the de Rolo crypt weren't just your garden variety undead like in the show, but a sort of spectre like thing that would possess members of the party and use them against the others. What do these facts have in common? Well, they lead to this brilliant exchange: Percy: Which one of my ancestors did you just _shame_ to death?!?!? Again?!? Scanlan: The one that was just possessing you. Percy: Ok, that's fair.
Just so Y'all know, Grog is voiced by Travis Willingham, who is the voice of the amazing Roy Mustang from the dubbed Full Metal Alchemist and Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood. BiS voice Actor.
Taliesin spitting one liners spontaneously during a live gameplay was awesome to watch. Percy is a character that deserves its reputation in ways a scripted never could.
Also the way that I believe Percys list works is that the names are of those who have betrayed Percy in a big way like his Teacher did and the Briarwoods.
Either that or it adds the ones that are dangerous to his life as in..the ones that could end up responsible for his death unless taken care of. Like the thing inside wants to make sure the host stays alive or something ._.
Spoilers! The names are anyone Percy wants to kill in the name of vengeance. Tal said that the sixth barrel wasn't for himself, but that if he ever completed the first five, another five would take its place to represent a neverending cycle of violence and revenge. He would always find more people that deserved to be taken out and would never have found peace.
An important thing to notice is that Pike can't Astral Project. It was her goddess who sent her all that far using a spell that is way above Pike's level. If her astral form is destroyed, she wouldn't be able to return and help them.
Just a clarification: in the campaign, Pike's "Astral Projection" was a fun way to explain Ashley Johnson playing over Skype while she was filming for a TV show. The spell "Astral Projection" is both way above Pike's level and very different in DnD.
To explain the room, the acid wouldnt usually fil the room up like that, it would drain through the bottom so that residuum could be washed of the stone its laid within and you'd be left with just the pure crystal. Its basically a giant processing plant for Anders to create pure residuum.
Take it from a professional soldier. When the citizens storm the bridge, those soldiers were in the worst possible formation with the weapons they had.
A lot of things in the series didn't actually happen in the campaign, but I do like the creative choices they've made to make the series more interesting and give the characters a few more moments to shine. The campaign and series are both fantastic and I'm so glad you guys have enjoyed it so far!
I saw Cassandra‘s betrayal coming. I was mostly 50/50. When Percy mentioned the names on each barrel I figured the sixth barrel was either for him or his sister
Scanlan's heavy metal is the Bardic Inspiration ability - adding a buff to other players that they can use on almost any roll they want. That's why Percy makes such a massive leap of figuring shit out right then.
If Pike's powers weren't supercharged from her body being in that temple, it's probably doubtful that she could've kept healing Grog fast enough for him to survive that acid swim and pull the switch.
So fun little Tidbit regarding Grog jumping into the acid: As a barbarian, Grog has the highest hp in the party. And since acid deals persistent corrosive damage, Grog was able to tank that damage for a longer period of time.
You might recognize the others as the following Grog: Roy Mustang, Thor (Assemble and the game) Scan: Donnie (TMNT 2003) Phoenix Wright Percy: Eizen (Tales of Berseria) Flash (Injustice) Vax: Gaara, Nightcrawler(Wolverine and the xmen), Lloyd (Code Geass) Vex: too many
All of the main characters voices, good & bad, should sound familiar. All the players of the original D&D game were all a bunch of voice actors who played together.
@@fragile4408 I immediately heard Dr.Ripley as Cheshire and I can sorta hear the Ellie but I gotta say I don't hear Flash in Percy at all o-o Either he's just really talented and can do several different sounding voices or I just haven't heard enough Flash idk. Yeah, that's how it was in the campaign, but based on Ep 7, it seems like they were hinting that the last bullet is actually for him in the show. I wouldn't be surprised if that was one of the creative changes that they decided to make for the purposes of the show, and I think it works really well either way, but I think it's one of the canoncially changed things for the show.
