DIY Lottery Tickets / Scratch Cards! What works best?

For some reason, most tutorials suggest using acrylic paint mixed with dish soap. I test that method and find out that there are better ways to do it..
Scratching lottery tickets is always fun and satisfying. I'm excited to use this technique for many more things.. Like imagine making cards for Mother's Day / Father's Day, birthdays, Valentine's, Christmas, baby gender reveals? :o

How is it easier to fold a piece of paper in half? Take the height or width, divide it by half, mark the position, then score along that position using a straightedge and something like a knitting needle or butterknife.

What brand water colors? (the description as only acrylic paints)

I used Pelican, but other brands can work too. In general I recommend doing a test first, because every color can react differently :)
