I only started to train my voice, and my goal is to widen my vocal range at least to mezzo-soprano. Is this possible at all? I'm alto now. Cheers!
+As Vol The one thing that I have learned so far, is that everything is posible if you just practice enough. Although I have not tried to achieve mezzo.soprano myself, I am positive you can nail it if you have some kind of basic knowledge aboute the techniques thats used to achieve it :) Good Lock! I'm training now to widen my vocal range from 2 octaves to 3 to be exact :) Now I'm even more positive that I can be successful! Thanks for the feedback and Merry Christmas to you too, Minniva! :)
Absolutely you can widen your range. As you learn new and better techniques. You can also seriously damage your vocal chords if you try too hard too fast. I suggest finding a private teacher to spend time working with. A local University will have many qualified individuals to work with.
I honestly don't know if I like this version or Nightwish better, but both are awesome. Tarja has a more powerful voice, but also more annoying in her range. Either way, excellent job! You are very talented.
