I remember playing the early days of the PlayStation when it would start to rain, the smell of wet dirt, the sun light piercing through the clouds as this song kicked in. This song takes me back to my childhood when I had discovered Megaman X.
I don't believe it's just nostalgia. Back in the 90's, stuff was made with real attention to detail and excelency, not just for profit, and it was BETTER.
It's def not nostalgia or boomer take to say the creative media was just better in the past. In gaming, we used to get a whole experience just at the purchase stage. You get a case, pamphlet or booklet, some of them with some poster or some illustrations, the deluxe versions would have collectible case etc. Nowadays, $70 digital download with nothing. Barely any digital rewards and everything DLC, one game broken into 3 parts, gacha/loot box, passes, subscriptions... it's quite sad how capitalism drives us to farther and farther away from greatness.

The Animation: 😃👍 The Quality: 😀👍 The Music: 👉😤👈 I prefer the European (Yes, I said it. Because, they didn't release on PS1/SAT in North America) version of the music. All I hear is a Japanese version and I don't like it. It sounded like something you hear in Shojo animes. But, hey. The Quality of the intro is very astonishing!
