I was really feeling some type of way when I recorded that intro 😬... sorry for all the cringe lol! Watch the last video from Brussels here: th-cam.com/video/6e-PM4blgTI/w-d-xo.html
Loved the video!!! A little side-note, that "Cathedral"... isn't a cathedral. It's actually the Holy-Trinity-Church. For Belgian standards it is a church of a small to average size. If you're ever in Brussels again, visit the national Cathedral of Saint-Gudule and Saint-Michel. Then you'll be able to see the difference in size. It isn't the biggest cathedral in our small country. Also if you want to go on an Art Deco tour in Brussels, visit the National Basilica of the Sacred Heart in Koekelberg (The world's largest art deco building ever constructed).
I *really* enjoyed it (they just had weird hours when I visited). I wish I would have gone at the beginning of my trip, so I could appreciate the buildings around the city more. Definitely check out the comic book route too!
Hi Regan, absolutely awesome video. The other night I had a dream with an all art noveau neighborhood with the most beautiful houses and even the streets designed with organic lines going up and down. Façades were all in white marvel, big windows and doors in clear green and blue tones. Such a beautiful place that I think I have never seen in real life. This dream is what brought me to your channel. Thanks for sharing beautiful!!!
Thanks so much for including the addresses! Love Art Nouveau and really wanted to do my own walking tour to save some $$. Traveling there in November, when were you there?
I visited in December! The sun set really early, like 2-3pm, while I was there, so I would just suggest getting an early start to the day. This website has a map with locations as well, that should be really useful for you: insideartnouveau.eu/en/
I did miss it! I did some of the Comic Book walk around the city the day before, but sadly didn't visit the museum. I walked around the Ixelles area, so definitely something to add to my list for the next time we visit!

I'm not an architect but I'm so fascinated by it my favorite cities for architecture is Amsterdam and Barcelona.
Same! Also just casually interested myself. Barcelona is one of my favorites!!
Thanks so much! I was trying to decide if I should go to the Horta museum or not. I think it's on the list now!

That's a good video.👍 I want to go on a trip.🛫
Me too!! One day travel will be possible again 🙏
Oh no you missed the Horta building that houses the comic book museum. It’s amazing from the inside.

@@ReganShorter The building is better than the museum. 😉
YOU are Art Neuveau, Regan.
