    Made to look so easy, yet I'm having to use a hammer to try and get the round plastic pieces under the ladder steps and they still don't want to fit in. I'm exhausted and I still haven't finished; been over an hour so far

      Yikes man sorry about that. It did take a few mins! But it does seem to go smoothly after it gets going. I hope this video helped some.

      @@TryThisDIYFix Thank you for your message, it's appreciated. I ended up finishing it but the all 4 legs don't touch the ground at the same time (lopsided). The paper instructions provided and all the VDO's I've watch state that pole A&B are left and right, then add the steps, which I followed. However poles A&B are different lengths. I've tried taking the plastic bits off to try putting A with A and B with B, alas after all the hamming I did to get them on, won't allow me to take them off now to try a new configuration. I hope you have a lovely day (your VDO was great BTW) I think I was just provided with a dodgy ladder :(

      I'm here right now because my legs are not labeled at all and it's the only reason I can think of that I cannot get these steps to lock in. I will seriously have to beat it with a cinder block to get them in

    • @cjong2829
      @cjong2829 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@toniadams3783 I feel your pain Toni. Make sure you set-up the pool first and fill it as you're going to need a swim after exhausting yourself in trying to put the ladder together. I discovered its easier to throw yourself over the edge of the pool instead of using the ill designed ladder (only if you're tall enough) but not safe for kids to do that.

    So mine have extensions and there are bolt holes on all the pieces for both legs but when you try to fit them into the holes they don't go into them correctly. There's like a black rubber piece. How do you attach them? Normally I would never ask a question because it's so simple but I've been trying and cannot seem to figure it out. I think it's because I'm tired from the pool set up and just need to take a break but it's the last part other than the pump. Haha any help would be greatly appreciated

    • @TryThisDIYFix
      @TryThisDIYFix  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hmmm. I’m not sure. Do they go a certain way? They might have to go a certain way so they all line up. Also I did just drill a hole in a swing because the holes didn’t line up.

    • @jonestown42
      @jonestown42 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @TryThisDIYFix it was definitely because I was too tired and needed a break LOL I came back to it and even though the ladder legs are all the same the White Cap side has slightly larger bolts than the black cap side. I never thought to look and see that there were two different sizes. Because they look exactly the same with the white cap for all of them. Thank you for responding sir! I appreciate it.

    The legs or the plate?
