sensible deal. i would've dealt at 22k really. should never ask anyone else if they would deal or no deal at that stage.
I felt Noel led Ashley into taking the deal. Later in the series he was doing the opposite and telling them to "make the most of the opportunity".

It is a fine balance for the host. Remember this was 2006, just in their first full year on air, Noel was still testing out the format.
