I just realized that the reason this fight is so difficult for him is because the rain is muffling the assassins' movement. I also love that while this puts him at a disadvantage in footing it gives him an edge as rain bouncing off the knife makes it easier to detect and dodge.
Another cool detail is that this isnt shown in the mc's thoughts or smth like that, it is instead implied in a couple shots when he switched hands with it.

Admittedly, Stick had to track down his soul and threaten to kick his ass in the afterlife if Matt didnt go back to his body, but he still did it.

I like how all the netflix MCU series have a seriousness that fits the character. Daredevil, although enhanced, is very easily killed. Same weaknesses, jessica jones although strong, was entirely about being mind controlled which even with all her strength she cant control, and now with luke cage, his series is much different because its not so much about WHETHER he can stop the crime, its, HOw and what and where and the best way to go about doing it, and the consequences of using your power to stop crimes, not so much whether youc an actually do it or not. im excited to see the atmosphere of iron fist. is it going to feel more like jessica jones? or daredevil?

And despite daredevil taking effort against Rance and john healy, punisher and bullseye on the other hand were both easily dominated by daredevil who took effort by Rance and john and the way they actually fight against daredevil for another thing is actually more skillful and quicker in combat than frank and bullseye were and melvin potter still managed to give matt a harder brawl in close combat than bullseye did in the close quarter combat
That's probably because guys like Punisher and Bulleyes are trained in hand to hand but use weaponry as their main form of combat and use hand to hand as a last resort
I chalk that up to Rance and Healy being the first that Matt had ever gone up against at the time who were simply that skilled. Like I'm certain that Punisher and Bullseye are better. I'd also wager that they'd be very easy to subdue at this point in DD's career.
I think one reason daredevil wins a lot of his fights is because people usually think he's completely blind (especially with this outfit) so they underestimate him and think that it's gonna be an easy fight

I wanted more ffort into daredevil trying to beat him. they could have made it better
Davone Doyle The Daredevil vs Nobu had a lot of effort put into it as Nobu is a martial arts assassin and he's a member of the hand so Daredevil was clearly outmatched but he still managed to put up a fight even when he was heavily cut up across most of his body, It's brutal plus the fact he didn't back down from fighting Kingpin even when he was severely injured.
Daniel Hindson I get that but towards the end he just ran away basically. I love that fight too but when I compare it to this one. well this is much better. throughout the series after episode 2 they get real sloppy with their fight scenes like the final battle and nobu. I just enjoy this more. but I think that's because steven de knight. he only directed a couple episodes. the episodes he directed was the ones towards the end and those were the worst ones to me. it felt everything got escalated then it slowed down and the finale is where it picked up a bit but it still wasn't the best episode
Davone Doyle Anyway I'm more excited for the Netflix future with Daredevil, Luke Cage, Jessica Jones and Iron Fist being on a team for the first time and I always wanted to see a fight between Daredevil and Iron Fist it could be like Iron Man and Thor on their first encounter. The Punisher, Elektra and Bullseye need to be introduced somewhere down the line.
Not every random thug. Fisk makes sure he hires the best help he can afford so of course a good chunk of the opponents DD faces in this season are highly skilled.
I love it how daredevil in the series actually has energy and he gets tired out unlike other superheroes
Dayson Tan and that he never gives up

this was better than the nobu fight and that was suppose to be one of the biggest fights in the series. they didn't really put much effort in nobu fight. at the beginning it was getting really cool. but close to the end after the knives it was just "Oh daredevil runs away while getting sliced." if they wanted to go that approach they might as well had him evade off of walls and stuff to get away instead of running.
Daniel Hindson me too. I think Jessica jones will be better
Doubt that
Whats the fight scene soundtrack during the scene In the house? And through out the whole fight.
If only u could tell what was going on during the first part (when they we're in the apartment)
come on Matty, get to work..
I came from Wattpad 💀
HAHAHAHAHA UNEXPECTED COMMENT BUT A WELCOME ONE 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I like long fight scenes just as much as any other Bruce Lee fan but now it feels like every random thug in this city is a black belt.
+ldmt1995 this guy is a trained assassin though, other Daredevil's fights with other thugs aren't this excruciating
ldmt1995 not the guys at the end of episode 2
ldmt1995 this ain't the raid where the meth heads are performing perfectly executed leg sweeps
plus fighting in the rain is difficult for dd
Not every random thug. Fisk makes sure he hires the best help he can afford so of course a good chunk of the opponents DD faces in this season are highly skilled.
Does anyone know what the yellow envelope said when matt threw him infront of the police station.
Shadow fight 2 in real life
Lmao
which is killer name?
Max Rockatansky Rance
Daredevil season 1 is the best among 3.
Who's the guy that plays the assassin?
What kind of knife was he using
Did he kill him? I can't tell.
TgAt12G5 Pretty sure he did !
No you see the character later on he just restraint ed then knocked him out
TgAt12G5
Watch the show then you'll see for yourself
+TgAt12G5 no the guy was killed in jail by fisks oppartive
No, he just knocked him unconscious. However, the guy (his name is Rance) is later found dead in his prison cell. Fisk's men killed him.
This fight scene would be better if we could actually see what's going on in the first part of it
I'm sure Matt feels the same way.
haha
Godzelda123 too savage XD
I wonder what style this is
+Paris Hedd Boxing, kung fu, aikido, muay thai, judo and pro-wrestling.
Daredevil: taekwondo, kali, judo, wrestling, and boxing.
Rance: krav maga, karate, kung fu.
