    What wire did you pull to make them sequential? Mine just blink solid.

      The connector with 1 wire.

    Finally someone designed aftermarket taillights that outdid the factory!!!

      What part took a lot of time? How long did it take you from start to finish (ready to drive away)?

    • @Indefinitely_
      @Indefinitely_  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      If not for filming and editing I’d estimate that I could have it done in 1-1.5 hours but I would plan for at least 2-3hrs for install. There wasn’t really any one particular part that took longer than the other but I would say that the actual removal and reinstallation of the tail lights took the longest.

    I noticed it blocks the teardrop vents. Is there anyway to leave that part open? Otherwise that's a major dealbreaker for my Z06, since both of those are functional.
    Albeit, not super important, I just hate the idea of blocking something even remotely useful. They do look great though!

    • @Indefinitely_
      @Indefinitely_  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      The only way I can see to leave it open would be to leave the bezel off but that would also remove the reverse lights. Leaving them off for the track might be ok but, obviously not for the street.

    • @RedSound2011
      @RedSound2011 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      That was a really good question...
      How much of a problem is it with the teardrop vents (below taillights) now blocked (used for reverse lights)?
      I just ordered these same lights but after more thorough analysis, I am worried about the possible long term damage of blocking those upper vents, I've got a 17 GS A8.

    Were you able to put the carbon fiber tail light trim back on the car after you installed the aftermarket tail lights ?

    Awesome video! I was not about to remove the whole bumper like some other vids

    • @Indefinitely_
      @Indefinitely_  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks G! Sometimes I think removing the whole thing is a bit easier when it comes to getting to the hardware holding in the lights but if you’re working by yourself doing it this way can be easier.

  • @shanecharron4643

    Thanks for the video it helped me tremendously in my own install as I was not super confident I could do it but your instructions were fool proof. Question I have is whether you notice a brake light delay when choosing the sequential option? I don't see it but on the forums others are suggesting places like vette lights say that morimoto stopped producing this option due to the delay.

    • @Indefinitely_
      @Indefinitely_  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Glad it helped you through it! I just checked with the sequential signals on and off and didn’t notice any delay in brake light activation at all. I don’t think production has stopped but will clarify that with vette lights and get back to you.

    • @Indefinitely_
      @Indefinitely_  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Shane, this is the response from vettelights. “This was a concern for the C6 lights (and is accurate - sequential functionality was ceased on the C6’s) but is not a concern for the C7’s!...”

      I’m still happy with them in terms of quality as I’ve had no issues with them but will be switching them back out for the stock ones. I like the way they look, but I think the stocks will look better with the paint color I’m doing next year

    Impressed really , i have a Q though, when you press break an release do they flicker or turn of for a second then goes back to normal? And what about then rear camera ? I use to have such issues with lambo lights on my zl1 18 , am thinking of ordering for my vette , thanks alot an keep up the great work

    • @Indefinitely_
      @Indefinitely_  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      With the turn signal off, hitting the brake will just brighten the lights like they would normally. with the turn signal on, it will flash the side turning (or sequence) while the others brighten. They don't do the 3 flash then solid when hitting the brake although that might be kinda cool. I don't notice anything negative with the reverse camera and you can definitely see where the reverse lights project the light.

    If the light bulbs go bad can you change the bulbs or do you have to get a complete new light snd I doubt they sell only one so you are for Ed to but a new set. What is the warranty on the light.

    • @Indefinitely_
      @Indefinitely_  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You would have to replace the entire light just like you would need to replace the entire oem unit if it went bad. They have a 10 year warranty.

      @@ronsteitz4535 ok, my point was the video was showing how to install them. Your reply was you hate them, which had nothing to really do with the video. Personally for me….I won’t want to pull things apart or pay that much for those lights. Everyone has their own taste and my final point was essentially he likes them and your hating them was just knocking his Willy in the dirt. I guess a more relatable example might be if someone had a picture of their Vette and I hated that color, should I blast them with I hate your Vette?

    people who are insecure would change a corvette to look like a Lamborghini. you should probably just go buy a lambo if your that desperate to put lambo tail lights in.

    • @Indefinitely_
      @Indefinitely_  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Everyone is at different stages of insecurities in life. Some show this by having the perfect lawn, booty pics on Instagram, buying a Harley or sports car, burning down local businesses, or posting comments like yours on a yt video. Or they are enjoying a hobby, marketing for their onlyfans page, like motorcycles or fun cars, enjoy arson or they are tying to engage with life, albeit in an abrasive manner.
