Also Royce who's with Em is Royce Da 5 9... He was someone who came up in the battle scene with Eminem back before he was famous, em came back for him after making it. There is a song on Eminems first LP the Slim Shady LP called Bad meets Evil, Em and Royce are on it.. Years go by and they have a falling out over something which I can't remember, but they rekindle and back to being close friends they made an album together called BAD MEETS EVIL which you should check out, it's good. Royce is BAD and Em is EVIL... They are good together performing, they feed off each other its quite impressive and very recently Royce has done a song called Caterpillar... That's really new and it's hot.. Em goes berserk as usual throwing crazy bars around... As usual haha
Just thought I'd clarify, Bad Meets Evil is their name and the album they made is called "Hell: The Sequel" as the last line in the song you referenced that's on the SSLP was "see you in hell for the sequel", hence "Bad Meets Evil - Hell: The Sequel".

The guy In the back round is royce da 5'9. Long time friend of eminem and also very talented rapper. He's one the only rappers who can almost reach eminems level of skill. He just released an album you should check out catepillar by him featuring eminem on his new album.

The dude is Royce da 5’9. He is extremely talented and has been a close friend of Eminem since 97. He is one of the few rappers who can match Eminem. Royce even ghost wrote for Dr. Dre for most of Dre’s 2001 album. Today (May 4th) Royce just released his Book Of Ryan album and you should give it a listen.
Royce aint the only one that wrote for dres 2001 album. The D.O.C., snoop, Mel man, Em, Jay etc. Jay wrote still Dre in its entirety and em wrote forgot about Dre and the watcher in their entirety. Em also has writing creds for bang bang and let's get high. Royce wrote the message though. The D.O.C has confirmed this.

Royce Da 5'9 actually wrote the last song on Chornic 2001 for Dre called 'The Message'. He originally wrote it for a close friend that he had lost and Dre felt it related so much that he requested to use it. You should check out his song called 'Tabernacle' It's a very personal and touching record. PS: I'm a huge fan of what you're doing man. We need to break down the barriers of music where age, race & other factors try to prevent us from uniting. I look forward to a lot more videos from you my good sir!

RCI What did you think about ems verse? Bc I just had a dude tell me his pre ssep stuff is still better and the bars and rhyme schemes on caterpillar were comparably lazy.
it was great.. the rhyme patterns might seem lazy if compared to a song like infinite, but generally his rhyme patterns now are better than anything pre-MMLP2.. from MMLP2 - present he has been on that infinite 2.0 shit lol + is making more complex patterns now vs then.. as far as bars (assuming bars = entendres), then no there really is no comparison to old
Em has always been good with flows & bending words, but lately he has implemented 20fold the technique that he used to in his songs previously.. .. royce was really good on Caterpillar too, flows were not as complex as Em's at times but were super smooth over that beat (which i loved)

Marshall Mathers LP was his second album and it went diamond. Sold over 30 million copies worldwide. Which is why he said he can wear it as a neck medallion or a diamond chain. He is a lyrical genius.
hey man, love the uploads. i've been following a couple reaction-channels recently and yours really stands out. i've also been holding out on suggesting any tracks to them, because i'm not sure people want to see you react to something they don't know anything about. you don't owe me anything, in fact, i probably owe you for these videos, but you'd still be doing me a favor by listening to "jedi mind tricks". i used to listen to metal when i was younger and these guys played a huge part in introducing me to rap/hip hop, as they are heavily inspired by metal. i'd suggest "outlive the war" or "blood in blood out", but really just anything would make my day. thanks again. have a nice weekend.

They’re filming it at the old train station downtown Detroit. I’m from there, it’s a pretty common thing for ppl to sneak in there - we used to do it all the time. But it’s been used a lot lately in media/film so they’ve been blocking it off with security.

Now that was a true react that what a reactions is about your feeling. keep the good work going Oh before I forget again. Mind works faster then my fingers. The same yr that NWA released the song you posted there was another song that was made that got banned quickly & only a few records got released before the ban. I my self never herd until some one else did the same song of NWA on there reaction post. it bought the memory of the other song checked it out & saw the posted on you tube & lesson to it for my 1st. time in 2018. It was rapper that when to do some rock n rap. The Artist was Ice T. a rock song called Cop killer. Which also helped create havoc which brewed the court case against hip hop/rap era of the 90's Which Ice Cube, Ice T., Luther Campbell + others defended & won the court case. That I respected very much on what they did for the music. The battle is still going on in hip hop today but in different ways.

If you really wanna hear em at his peak listen to "Eminem - The Freestyle Show (Rare Mixtape)" on youtube, its long but so worth it. Compilation of freestyles he did on the radio when he was young, hungry and still shady. Also dont think youd run into any copyright issues with it too which is a plus. Keep up the great work dude.

Royce da 5'9, was his first hype man about 20 years ago. Had a falling out but brothers will always be brothers and They real tight again. They form a group called bad meets evil. 2 of the best lyricists ever.
Royce da 5'9" and Eminem created a duo called "Bad Meets Evil" in the 90's. They came out with a few songs, then in the early 2000's fell out with each other (even threw a few diss records and jabs at each other).
Fast forward a couple years and they reunited Bad Meets Evil and came out with an incredible album "Hell: The Sequel". They made a few music videos for tracks off the album as well.
Royce is not only a solo artist, but he's 1/2 of ANOTHER duo, PRhyme (Eminem is wearing their sweatshirt in your video) with DJ Premier.
Royce is ALSO 1/4 of the group Slaughterhouse, who is signed to Eminem's label Shady Records. The group members are Crooked I, Joe Budden, Royce & Joel Ortiz.
In my opinion Eminem and Royce are two of the greatest artists out right now. Eminem, on a few occasions, even had to go back and rewrite his verse after hearing Royce's because it was that good.
They have a lot of music together, I definitely recommend checking out Royce's material. The way they tennis ball lyrics back and forth on some songs are amazing.

The guy standing behind Em is Royce da 5'9", a long time rap partner of his and definitely worth checking out. I personally recommend "Caterpillar", which is a brand new song of his also featuring Eminem. You won't be disappointed.

It's awesome that you're entering what many would say is the purest form of hip hop, freestyle and battle rapping. It's actually how Em made it. There was a point where he nearly gave up his dream, that's until Dr Dre saw some of his rap battles and knew that Em was going to be huge. You should look up some of his battles on TH-cam. And check out some of his best diss tracks like The Warning and it you don't like Fred Durst check out D12's Girls. Diss tracks are a huge part of Ems career
