@@pjunnisaq Ned mentioned it in somewhere in their videos (either try pod or else where), that TRYDIY they uploaded received negative comments which impacted Ned (and maybe Ariel), therefore they discontinued the series. But IMO TRY DIY is awesome.

I'm, honestly, concerned for how in-touch the guys are if Ned thinks a $2,000 mattress is "mid-range." I bought a fancy memory foam beauty with like a 10yr guarentee that has done wonders for my back and it was $800. That's what I would consider mid-range, because it's not luxury or techy, but it's also high quality and should last the whole standard life of a mattess and then some. 🤷♀️

They should have a video where they play GaGa ball, but the majority of the video is them actually building a GaGa ball pit bc it’s really hard to find a good one to buy.

It’s a shame they don’t want to learn instruments. It’s soo fun! They are missing out. Keith, I was forced to learn piano first when I was younger, it really does make a huge difference. I’m primarily a vocalist, and I believe learning piano really helped develop my ear!

I will say that thanks to Zach’s recommendation for Netflix’s show “Dark” - my fiancé and I binged the whole thing in a week and it was INCREDIBLE
It is one of the best shows I have watched in a very long time. I was watching it before Zach mentioned it however, I was very hype because I feel like no one has watched it.
I so appreciate Miles' passion on mechanical keyboards. it is such an underrated necessity for those who work on computers all day. it's so much better to customize your own keyboard to relieve your hands

YES. Corbin Blu was honestly such an underrated Disney star, and Push it to the Limit is still a bop.
I like this idea of try guys try elementary assembly where they try the random things that people would do for assemblies: like extremes yo-yo, Keith’s extreme jump rope, those sticks, etc.
or even try guys get the try wives(and Matt) their childhood item they always wanted (maybe it was moon shoes, skip it, or jordons with the pumps in the shoes) or try guys try strange 90’s toys
I actually really hated how negative Zach was about Maggie wanting to watch trending shows...I get why he doesn't like watching them, but some of the stuff he said like "Get a f*** backbone and don't watch garbage!" made it feel directed at Maggie. so what if she hears from her nail lady that she should watch a show? I'm with Ned, it's human nature to want to watch things that are recommended to you...
Also the fact how he “ironically” is obsessed with bad movies like Cats and his podcast is literally called Guilty Pleasures. Like shouldn’t he get watching garbage and liking it???
I 100% get this. I know Zach likes to try to have hot takes and take a reasonable opinion (some recommendations are not great) and turn it into something so extreme that people want to argue with him (GET A F*** BACKBONE AND DON’T WATCH GARBAGE). I think the reason it hits different is because we *know* he’s a music and movie snob, so it feels like he’s being genuine about this, even when he’s probably just playing it up to be argumentative. I was hella annoyed by it all too, but I’m trying to be understanding!
I love that men in their 30's are talking about how to make veggie stock, using a chicken carcass to make broth, etc. My Dad taught me how to do stuff like that and over time, I'm so thankful that I learned how because it's helped. But also, too many people (both young and old) want to do things fast or just go buy it. Or, just go get a pre-made dish and eat it without enjoying it. I've spent the last few years learning how to hone my cooking skills, applying the things I've learned from my parents and grandparents.
I truly respected what Keith said (I think) about butchering the chicken yourself. It really does help a person understand that it's not just a tray of chicken meat. It was a living, breathing animal once. If you know what you're doing, it gives greater respect to the life of that animal and makes you more grateful.
Also, I haven't heard anyone talk about 4 Square since I was in the 2nd grade back in 19mumble-mumble. Loved hearing you guys talk about it. I had forgotten about how the "King" could call different rules and I think that person could even declare war on someone if they were nearing the #2 square (or on it) to get rid of them. It was rare that I made it to #1 but I had fun no matter what.

I know I'm very late but I would just like to say, when Ned said he is 33 he doesn't want to learn an instrument - I did a dissertation about how learning an instrument in your later life, it will reduce the risk of Dementia by 33%

I liked Keith's suggestion of learning a musical instrument. I would love to see the guys spend some time with it and then get together to perform a piece of music. Or acapella singing maybe? I would also love to see Keith return to crochet since he was the newbie that took it up the quickest.

NED, NED, NED!!! PLEASE HAVE YOUR KIDS TAKE MUSIC LESSONS, PLEASE LITERALLY LEARNING ABOUT MUSIC HELPS DEVELOP A KIDS BRAIN MORE. It's been proven by studies. Please get your kids to take music lessons, especially because they're young. The earlier a child is taught about music, the better they will get at it and the more their brain will develop because it helps their intellectual, social-emotional, motor, language, and overall literacy and exposing children to music during early development helps them learn the sounds and meanings of words. (Yes, I used a quote because like I said, IT'S BEEN PROVEN!!)
I wholeheartedly support this and this is coming from a person who has started learning music seriously in their mid teens. They can discover their passion for music in the later stages but by no means should it feel “forced”; method of implementation is key imo. I have a friend who had started lessons when he was really young and hates classical music and taking musical lessons till this day, so to prevent such response, I suggest bringing a friend along and learning it side by side with them so that the child wouldn’t feel lonely and keep all their frustrations to themselves, it might even foster healthy competition!
Miles is right about motivation with instruments being hard. I've been playing piano almost my whole life (my grandma taught me) and I didn't really start to love it until I started learning jazz songs!

I remember at band camp we played four square and one of my cabin mates was there with her brother and they would cheer each other on in Korean and I tried to learn some... years later I find out they were not cheering each other on, but trash talking everyone else playing 😂
