Very nice job! Too bad about a couple of things though. The emergancy exit panel on the starboard side by the cockpit was not hinged like that on the Hurricane. Don't know why people always thinks that. It was jettisoned together with the hood when bailing out. The ailerons should be one up and one down, not both down. And the tail wheel sits to high. Other then that, a very nice build, especially the paint job🙂
You know! I just noticed at the end of the video that all the maps and paperwork would fall out, and some wires would break every time the "door" was opened
Great build and the paintwork is fantastic 😎… sorry to pick you up on an error but on this occasion the manufacturer is mainly to blame!! The “cockpit entry door” that you have posed open simply does not exist on the aircraft, this panel was an emergency kick out panel that has no hinge!… egress and entry to the cockpit was via the port wing root and kick in steps on the fuselage , it’s an error I have seen previously, but never one presented by a manufacturer! ( by the way I spent some time working on the actual BBMF airframe!) naughty Italians 🤓😉
@@richardgarbutt355 Thanks for your comments. Yes I did wonder about the hatch and I couldn't find any reference pics that showed that open and I did think it would be strange to exit on the starboard side.
There is no cockpit door. It's an emergency escape panel. Thet when opened it falls off. Anyway, it's a nice build all the same. The RAF fighters had a cemi-gloss paint appearance not because they weren't a flat finish, it was because the pilots had the ground crew wax polish them for a slight edge in speed.
So many great models of the Hurricane spoiled because the modeller thinks it has a hinged cockpit side door. It was actually a removable panel, not hinged.
I have always liked the hurricane you made a great job of this kit happy modeling my friend

@@kevinsands7639 Thanks. That has been pointed out before.
Nice work! This must be an old bottle of Tamiya XF-81 because the newer ones are more olive now.
Absolutely masterful!!! Thank you so much for the video.
Supremo, I do want to make this sometime, so your video is great 👍

Thanks for your reply. Yes you are correct ,though it also allows you to look inside the cockpit.
Excellent.
Thanks 😊
Nice, but you made an error - the starboard side hatch is not a door and doesn't open like the Spitfire's port side door.
Thanks for your comments 🙂. Yes you're correct someone else pointed that out.
Lovely build ..annoying music!!…
Thanks for your comments 🙂. Sorry about the music.
