Was truly a pleasure to meet you both in Tirana Park today, what are the odds? Annette & I enjoyed talking with you both today. Who knows maybe we will run into you again. I did send an e-mail to y’all and maybe we can meet again before you leave Tirana 🇦🇱

I wondered if the apps were off about the distances, but I never tested and just chalked it up to the kilometers vs miles conversion. Hmmmm, next time I'll have to pay better attention to that. We also used Camino Ninja, we downloaded like four more apps with the intention of comparing them, but Camino Ninja was the first one we started with and it had everything we needed so I never even tried the other ones. The app was helpful at a few key points (and especially for booking a place for later that day) but you're right it is something you'll need to be glued to your phone for, finding your way is mostly very easy.

I like Camino Ninja too. And your videos helped us with a lot of tips and familiarity with the segments.

@@EatWalkLearn Glad to hear you found ours helpful. There is just so much to talk about and learn. We'll definitely be back for another Camino in a few years.

Other lessons we have had to learn - you are not a bad pilgrim if you can’t carry a backpack the whole way. It’s okay to have them transported ahead. Also, sometimes it is appropriate to let discretion be the better part of valour and skip certain sections that could be hazardous if it is raining and slick or if you aren’t in optimal physical condition.
