It’s very interesting. It’s like they are fraternal twin personalities. Both are caring, perfectionists, and planners but one likes to plan for the present while the other plans for the future. Sounds like those personalities would make a great couple. I feel like a mix of the two.
I guess most of us who relate to both INFJ and ISFJ need to understand that we fall into both depending on situations that's where the line blurs. I saw myself relating to both personalities but leaning more towards INFJ.
@@dante7817 I see that you didn't get an answer to your question, "I never lean towards ISFJ, what's that like for you?" I'm an ISFJ, but here's what I think: First of all, each type is made up of the same components (Sensing, iNtuition, Thinking, & Feeling) and have a mix of Introverted and Extroverted ways of expressing those components. Some are stronger and more natural for us than others, but each of us have at least a tiny bit of all of them. We see this in our Function Stack. We can also develop traits that aren't our natural tendencies. When we need or want to do something that doesn't come naturally to us, we can still use those less dominant functions. For example: 1. When cooking a recipe that requires precise measurements and exact temperatures and timing, an INFJ can pay attention to all the specific details and instructions of the recipe. 2. Or if someone you love is sick, you can lean into your nurturing side to take care of them.
Single handedly out of the most realistic difference between infj and isfj videos out there. No stereotypes and really fluently and articulately explained. Very much appreciate
I'm an ISFJ... I remember specific details of the past, I like to serve others and show affection, but is hard when the others don't show apreciation for what Im doing for them. I realized that since a short time ago and was quite revealing, It helps me to understand better how I am and what I should do with my strenghts and weaknesess. I feel weird after discovering this 🙈 EDIT: after many years thinking about it and doing the test several times, I'm glad to announce that I'm an ISFP 😂 I realized although I share some things with ISFJs, I approach life through artistic and creative things. Also I'm very focused in how I feel most part of the time. For more details please go and watch the video about ISFPs because writing this stuff it's too tiring for me 😂
Well, I hope you find people that appreciate you better. Your qualities are better than gold, imo. And rare as can be esp in this day and age. Bless ya!!
Well... A few months after my comments I discovered that I'm ISFP and not ISFJ. The first times I did the test I was emotionally down, that explains it all. I'm definitely not ISFJ at all 😁
Sam Pakpahan Hahaha You guys make me jealous. 😆 I have such a soft spot for ISFJs.❤️ But I’m happy for you! All you sweet INFJs and ISFJs out there deserve eachother! 😊
Having a great ISFJ in your life is the best, they will protect you and stand by you no matter what. And being best buddies with an INFJ feels like having an Einstein as your bestfriend and its so cute how they believe and try to change the world.
My partner is an ISFJ and is brilliant, and I mean BRILLIANT with details. They are a wonderful person, loyal and will give and give. I am an INFJ and we have learnt to trust each other’s super powers.
Biggest strength of INFJ 5:30 I suppose this stems from their love and awe for the layers & complexity of the human condition. They know instinctually that externalised reactions & emotional conditions are just manifestations of a deeper issue. This is why many INFJs stay locked in narcissistic abuse. They can see the narcissist's hurt. But nobody can help the narcissist. And the INFJ must realise this before they can consciously decide to leave.
I am an INFJ & my hubs is an ISFJ. Being quite similar but having opposite ends of the spectrum differences has been challenging. However, we both listened to this cast & as Soon as you said ISFJ's stress about a change in their environment we both looked at each other, smiling. It feels so good to be understood, & then to have someone, such as yourself, validate that understanding is refreshing. Thank you for this very insightful explanation, Bo. It was extremely informative.
INFP here dating an Isfj. I feel safe but also insecure because he is quite most of the time and I make sure that I won't forget to appreciate everything he do
I feel like I’m truly between the two! I can take a little from each category to complete one personality! I truly feel that I have a little bit of both I think I lean a little bit towards insj, but feel very much connected to the INFJ as well
Other Honestly, I agree. This'll sound silly, but I am an actual INFJ, here to start learning about Sensing types. People get mistyped all the time, and I was actually mistyped at first, as an INFP. But, as Frank James says, the way you can more effectively know what type you are is your weaknesses and fears, not your strengths.
I mostly related to INFJ but there was little things that I disagreed with. there were some things I strongly related to the ISFJ I still dont know which one I am 😁💧💧😂 send help lol
Free test www.16personalities.com/ You have to be really honest. And I think things change as we get older and learn to interact. Also I’ve noticed it changes depending on how you feel about yourself at any given time. If you are unhappy when you take it, it can skew one way then change if you take it when you feel better about yourself
@@dsatt57 May you tell me the validity of the results from that website? That was where I got my results from, being INFJ. As the Keokeyokae mentioned, there are some things I did not vibe on w/ INFJ but some that were very spot on. Probably due to the nature of the generality of the information. Although I can relate to some ISFJ as well, since the percentage for N and S were close. Of course no personality test is 100% true at all times b/c people change over time and the bias may affect outcomes of such tests.
I hate group work and participating which I'm always accused of being quiet and brainstorming my own ideas which I keep to myself unless the group honestly has no clue, instead I like going back to my room and working on the same group work alone.
I'm an INFJ and just as I was watching this video, my Father (ENTJ) called and immediately went into a very detailed plan of rearranging my garage since he and my Mother live in a small apartment. I found this highly amusing as after the call I continued watching the video and learned that I would find very detailed conversation are stressors. So true. Time to put on some music and find my happy place.
INFJ and ISFJ personality are really me. I just do not understand why I am an INFJ when nobody's stimulating my conscious mind to react and suddenly act in an ISFJ personality when dealing with people or responding to them.
Thank you for your videos. They help me tremendously in accepting who I am. Being an INFJ (and being in minority and not understood by many people) makes it hard sometimes to be "plugged in" into this world. Your videos help me realize that this is simply because of who I am, and that it is ok to be me and different. And that in return, helps and encourages me to get involved in the world around me, and not hide away in my own world ( which I assume is a challenge for a lot of INFJs).
Teodora Ghita Hi Teodora. Thanks. And, yes I have already. I've watched some of his videos as well. Thanks for being willing to help and suggesting Scott in any case.
I “grew up” from an INFJ into an ISFJ. 🙃 I’ve always scored close on that category, but in my 20s, when I first took this, I scored as an N. I just took this again (a decade later) and I’m now an S. Looking at the summaries, even before taking the test, I knew I was an S. And looking back I can see the difference in me.
The type can't change. You cannot switch from one to another. It is what it is. To truly type yourself you have to look at cognitive functions and study them.
@Edowin I get your points, but i think I've been misunderstood and I apologize if i didn't make myself clear. To respond to your points, we're all works in progress, no test, no theory like the mbti can fully explain how we work, however I'm fascinated by human nature and psychology so personally theories like this are really interesting to study. What I've been trying to say with my comment before is that as far as i know about mbti (and I'm aware of the fact that there's plenty of things i don't know about yet) , we're all able to use ALL cognitive functions, however as we can see from the cognitive stack, we have preferred functions that we instinctively use, like the first two, and we can mature the last two in the stack that are usually more undeveloped. But as you said mbti is just an hypothesis, It's obvious that 8 binary options can't explain your mental programmes, I think is just a plausible attempt to explain it tho. So yes i reaffirm my opinion: you cannot "grow up" or progress into another mbti type, it is what it is, we cannot just relate to a description (sometimes based on stereotypes) and relate to a particular type. It's far more complex than just that. otherwise i could just choose to act in a different manner or to use functions that aren't 'natural' to me and be another type et voilà the theory has no more value. BUT OF COURSE you can progress and change and mature as a human being. Ps. Sorry for grammar mistakes i might have done, I'm not an English native speaker
i almost cried for feeling understood, i have never been good with details and the analogy with the threes was just such a perfect way to put it, thank you so much for your video
Still can't decide 🤣 I'm tied on N/S with everything else a very strong IFJ, and literally everything you said I was like "yep, me!" Like the two ideas that are supposed to separate the two, complement each other in me. In terms of creativity, my S brings my N into the physical world; my N would be expressionless without my S, and my S would have no inspiration without my N. I can't imagine only having one primarily, I need them both equally to function both productively and feel fulfilled. In terms of my wandering thoughts, I think about potentials and ideals (N) using the past and my tangable experiences as a guide (S). At first I thought I was more S, but as you explained further I realized that I don't dwell on the past, rather I do dwell on concepts that could-be using my experiences as justification for those daydreams. Without S my thoughts would have no foundation, without N my thoughts would have no direction. I'm slightly more N with my memory, I don't remember as many random specifics, though when it comes to what people say I'm DEFINITELY more S and remember every detail rather than the general gist. I'm slightly more S with my work ethic, I definitely prefer contributing to someone else's idea with my N, then bringing it into fruition with my S.
I’m an INFJ, and I really respect ISFJ’s, to be honest…! Who knew that the rarest personality type, and the most common personality type were so close in that they have so much in common…?
Sensing and Intuition are functions that are legitimately confusing, and this is why I’ve not been able to determine my type at all. I’m highly imaginative, and when my mood is good, my free time is spent thinking about creativity-I draw, sing, write, cosplay, I translate, and I love learning about random things that pop into my head. I’m also very analytical, and I can usually profile people really well. On the other hand, I’m incredible with both noticing details people overlook and my memory is scary good. I also experience sensory stimulation intensely, and am overstimulated very easily. I have autism though, so most of these other things could be attributed to that? I’m not sure. I do think about the future and the fun things I want to do and am going to be doing, but I also have a tendency to get caught up in the past because of OCD... This whole “one or the other, no nuances for you” shit is messing me up...
I mean... I do go to the past and usually give it a few brush ups, imagine better outcomes and so on... But I also like to go nowhere, and imagine conversations and situations that I will NEVER have.
Online tests 90% of the time say ISFJ. But this makes me feel like I’m an INFJ. Some things you mentioned about the INFJ struck really strongly. Now I’m so confused.
@@hanaaprrr4401 Update; as I've got older, I type more INFJ. Once INFP. Other sites like Altruity was either INFJ/INTJ/INTP. My life of recluse and solitude reflects that of an INFJ, unfortunately. I wish I was a more outgoing sign, sadly.
One of my really good friends is an infj and I’m an isfj and we understand each other a lot. It’s great knowing someone that understands you because it’s easier to explain things ^^
These comments are cringy when people are venting & saying they are both infj & isfj. Can't they differentiate between Ni-Se & Si-Ne. They don't understand that they can't be both as isfj have demon Ni while Infj have demon Si.
I am an ISFJ and I strongly agree with whatever u said...being creative is not my thing...I have said that so many times that everyone knows I am not at all good in art...it bothered me a lot bcz my mom, brother and dad all are quite creative but I have started accepting it now...and thinking about the past and the details of what happened even 10 yrs ago or maybe 4 hrs ago..it can be anything...mind gets stuck in a loop...when I talk to others who were maybe in my class and someone who mattered to me (bcz I don't remember faces that much) in that case many times I surprise even myself that I remember the details bcz I hadn't consciously paid attention to remember that
I’m an ISFJ and there has been plenty of times where someone tried to hide how they were feeling and I knew right away something was wrong, usually its intuitive people that I can read sensing people are v hard to read to me 😂
Totally! I follow some public people on social media and the first time I laid eyes on them I knew those people know what pain is, being it emotional or physical. It turned out I was right. I am training this ability more and more on those around me. 😅
Přesně tak, jdu třeba v autobuse a cítím ty emoce lidí a podle fotky co jsem zkoušela jsem byla schopná o lidech pro mne neznámých říci i některé detaily a ověřeno souhlas. Prostě taková hra jestli to umím.
The point about overwhelming details being a stressor to INFJs really sealed it for me. My head is often in the clouds and I get really annoyed with distractions. I also sometimes freeze up when too many details require my immediate attention. It makes me feel like I must appear stupid to others. Just the worst feeling to me.
The 3rd was what made it for me. I never notice anything material. Like, never. Contrary to my sister. She sometimes says "Do you remember what the guy in the red shirts name is?" where I'm like "Umm... Was there a guy with a red shirt?" "Yeah! He's the one we talked to just before!" "Ohhh! You mean (for example) Michael! The one who seemed so nervous?" "Yes!". That happens all the time.
I have done the big Myers-test about six times through my time... Two times I’ve got the result ISFJ and the other four I’ve got INFJ and INFJ-T... After I’ve read about the types, not an expert, I’ve noticed how much I relate and not with both types. So confused, but I guess that’s me. Is it possible to evolve type as you grow? Cuz I was younger and had not really found me when I got the first ISFJ result.
I've done Myers test 10 times and out of that once I got mediator type , twice ISTJ thrice I got ISFJ and when I finally understood the questions properly then I got INFJ four times and never have I ever felt so understood like they know me more than me myself so now I know finally I'm an INFJ-T
@@artisticsajida 16p is a shitty test don't believe what it gives you. The fact that you did it like 10times without any new input is definitely a hint towards a Si type (ISFJ/ISTJ). Theorically, you can't switch type. Si types are the most diverse ppl. While Ni or Ti users tend to ends up the same, Si is a very personal function.
@@lux4785 I've done several tests on this, one was even a ~70 question test about functions instead of this typical "I or E, F or T, ..." approach. They all gave me the ISFJ result. I remember being scared of possible outcomes some years ago, but I have accepted the fact that "whatever happens it's going to be alright". I'm also less attached to my belongings than before. I tend to think less about the past and more about what I could do to improve things by now. I'm not really into this type switching theory, but I realize everyone does everything and you can not only grow in one direction but change the way you want to. However some changes might be a lot more difficult than others. The "biggest strength" of an INFJ mentioned at 5:30 might show a deep understanding of a concept, but every concept relies on data you got by some sort of series of observations(senses). Honestly the more I learn about anything the more I get confused or might just see that every function works into another and the 16 personalities system is not evolved deeply enough to be true for every case.
Thank you! I initially had ISFJ for the past 4 years, tonight I got INFJ. The times I had ISFJ I was dealing with lost and nostalgia but lately Ive been at peace and in hindsight Ive gained perspective in those experiences. I definitely believe, in time Ive evolved from an ISFJ to an INFJ.
That idea makes sense. The test indicated there was only a 1% difference between my intuition and sensing. Depending on the setting I seem to use a bit more of isfj or infj.
I only know that I will always be an INFJ...have similar experiences as other personality types yes...but I really don't think that your brain work differently over time...life experiences...I believe...can affect your cognitive functions and enhance your ability to use them more effectively...but I don't believe that age changes in which order and how your brain bring in and process information...I hope I was able to explain my thoughts about this...I'm trying to keep the comment short 🙄
I did the test last year. Was surprised by how it fit & but put it aside. Recently been looking into it in more detail & it's almost like therapy. I feel so less alien. It's like so much of who I am, my common issues & weird strengths are starting to make sense. I'll get that ebook when I'm able, thank you. I am INFJ, I have a relative who is ISFJ. We get on famously. It's interesting how the most & least common type are only one trait different. I feel as if thst says a lot but not quite sure what lol.
Okay I am definitely an INFJ all 4 points are pointing at INFJ I took a second test somewhere else and it came out as ISFJ and it made me confused but I’m glad to get some reassurance
i used to be stuck between isfj and infj because i always thought that i remember a lot of small details from the past when in fact i remember more of the meanings behind the actions instead of the actions themselves
omg yes, same! I can remember a lot of small details, especially about my childhood. And seeing your comment made me realize I actually only remember those situation very specifically because of the way it made me feel. I also think maybe it's because of my temperament, I'm a phlegmatic-melancholic and we have a really good memory and are detailed oriented. But I'm still not 100% sure because I really struggle with changes, I prefer things go always according to plan, but I'm not sure because this might be bc of my anxiety and laziness. I really find both types relatable, but I think I'm an INFJ.
I think one of the obvious distinctions is that ISFJs are generally more practical in their approach to life. INFJs are probably more prone to procrastination.
For a minute, as I took a break from painting, I listened and considered the possibility of being insj, though thats never been indicated.. But there's no doubt with each example given, that Infj is the one. Where I go in my mind when not occupied, is just as you described, spot on.. And the desires, motivations, etc, around creativity, right on..You're good, lol.. I'm always changing things a little creatively, no matter what I intend and get the nice surprise when it's completely different from what I've done before yet there is real cohesion in my body of work from beginning til today. Intuitive art is saving my ass, since I have lost my ability (I'd had to work hard for) to effectively communicate irl, imo. No one knows me. And I blame myself for not presenting my authentic self better. Had a lot of abusive people mirror me. Could have something to do with that.. But at least I accept others and don't make them work so damned hard to be.. Live and let live, with values. And treat people the same in public and in private. Can't say I've been seeing or getting the same, which freaks me out somewhat. I just go back to my creative space and paint. F it. But sad..
These videos are SO helpful. They give me great reminders and insight to who I am and how my mind works so I can make myself better. And I love self improvement! I just wish my ENFP partner shared my obsession :P Thank you for putting this content out!!
The clip was a home run! I could be both, but always test out as INFJ-A. I gotta tell you, when you mentioned unplanned things upsetting INFJ, BINGO brother! Example:When I budget time to mow and the mower either doesn't start or it quits before I am finished, it upsets me greatly. But I adjust, reshuffle action items, and go on. The wierd part comes next: Do I care if the grass gets high? No. I care that my planned activities are messed up. I don't control people, but I do control my work flow, at both home and work. Wierd I guess. Well, you got all of us thinking! Thank you.
you summarized and explained very well ! My boyfriend is ISFJ and I am INFJ, it was funny to listen to your explanation and to hear about the differences. They did fit quite well. We complete each other very well. He can do things i suck at and the other way around. we both profit from each other. but we also can stress us out and annoy us :D we have to help each other out and support each other with our abilities. He thinks its funny that i have real issues with details and day to day things. im a chaotic. Im amazed how well organized he is and he helps me out a lot :D I give him a 24/7 philosophy and psychology course and he really does make use of it. im so proude of him when he can contribute with the knowlegde somewhere else :D
Now i am very very much sure i am an INFJ. 😂 I compare myself to INFP too but really i am INFJ. My sis is an ISFJ that's prolly why we are good to each other and we understand each other on a deeper level. Thank you! ❤
yeaaa i realized that i like to travel a lot but i dont like the details of traveling LOL like if something small goes wrong it kills everything about the big picture of what the trip was supposed to be hahah
Ugh, when he got to "getting the oil changed," I was like STOP IT! 🥴 It has gotten better, though, as the years go by and I surrender a bit more to this "reality" thing.
I took a test twice. About a year ago it was INFJ. But today it was ISFJ. That's why I started looking for the difference between the two and found your video. After watching it, I think I'm INFJ.
Fine you convinced me that I am an INFJ because my future visions are the most important I would very rarely prioritize someone else's vision. although I made 3 16 personality tests in my life. first was INFJ in late 2015 when I got to know about it all. Later one I made another and it shown ISFJ. Last year I made the third and it shown again INFJ-T :3
this cleared things up for me, i usually always get INFJ as my results, but i took one that gave me ISFJ made me wonder, I'm definitely INFJ, thank you :)
Watched a few videos, great stuff. I know I am INXX but am having problems finding the right one, thanks to these videos I have concluded that I am not a INFJ, even though I share some traits, still on a quest to find out what I am :-D
I was distant and no implications to be INFJ as yet I have postulated to be strong Ti functions whether minor shifted with Se/Ni or Si/Ne and the slightly borderline with Pe/Ji or vice versa whilst I am Introverted Exterior
From time to time, ive been bouncing back and forth between being an ISFJ and INFJ... While watching this video I kinda get why... I like consistency or doing things by experience but I am also innovative in a way that Im trying to improve what has been practiced for long. I try to discover new things so as to make work easier for everyone. I often say in my work place, "if it works well why change it? However, if another method or technique gives a better outcome, change becomes inevitable. We need to catch up." I choose to change not for the sake of changing but for the sake of betterment. I scrap traditions that I deem harmful or I deem as a hindrance for organizational/personal growth. I like helping people. However, I dont usually extend my hand all at once. I usually let my colleagues do things on their own and help out only if they asked for it. The only time I voluntarily get up to help out is when I get frustrated with someone who is already having a hard yet fails to promptly seek assistance.
What types of information do you binge consume? Do you care much about celebrities (ISFJ), or are you more concerned with how the world works/philosophy/the big picture (INFJ)? That you care so much about what your personality type is is a good indicator that you're an INFJ: Usually, ISFJs are interested in personality type mainly so that they can better relate to friends and family, but they don't get into it without a nudge or encouragement from someone else.
@@ispeakpeople why would i care about celebrities? More like Im trying to know myself not just by watching vids but also by speaking with people who know me best.
@@XerxesBreakSama That's a big sign that you're an INFJ. :-) My ISFJs I know would have a very different opinion. Also, the way you described yourself sounded more like an INFJ. Have you read my book yet? I encourage you to grab a free copy and see if anything sounds familiar: www.infjbook.com
Took a least 3 different free tests... generally ending up with either INFJ or ISFJ...but the last one I took I tried to answer as truthfully as possible... INFJ-T. So in conclusion, 2 tests INFJ to 1 ISFJ
i have took the 16 per test i come out both, doing it 2 times. The thing is that the difference they have are both of me. What i mean is this: every difference of how they do things, i do both for example (how i treat and come in contact with other people) or i act as INFJ at something (job for example) and i may act as ISFJ in some other (relationship). All this is confusing. You said for example what both think when they sleep. Well i think about the future or how well i passed with friends and etc and also think about ideas and etc. I dont know whats really going on, but maybe there are more things to personality than narrowing it into just 16 pers.
I usually get INFJ on tests, but I feel like I'm an ISFJ. I definitely think more about the past than the future, the future terrifies me. On the other hand I prefer projects rather than a daily grind. I seem to go 50/50 with N/S.
i was an infj. but people say, i'm changing and being more care to other people. then i did mbti test for the second time. and now i'm isfj. but sometimes i still feel like denial with my guardian title, lmao.
I wish this was more helpful... the first two points make me think ISFJ but the last two make me lean INFJ. :/ I've always thought I was more INFJ but I just can't decide... Thank you for your efforts though
I still don’t know what I am. I’ve gotten ISFJ on 16 personalities twice and I can relate well. However I stumbled upon a video about INFJ women and I almost cried because it was so accurate. But when I read about INFJ on 16 personalities I didn’t really get such a strong reaction. So, I did the cognitive function test and got extroverted feeling as my most pronounced function (introverted sensing as my second). The test said I was most likely an ENFJ or an ESFJ. But I’m a massive introvert, so that would be INFJ or ISFJ instead… So, I’m back to square one 🧐😕
I've had to watch this video twice. I feel almost completely that INFJ. But I also remember details- something somebody said 40 years ago. Is that ISFJ?
Hi there, I'm new to all this but after taking a quiz I was ISFJ but listening to this video, I know I'm both types to varying degrees. Does anyone else identify with this? Many thanks.
very insightful video. Everybody I know say that I am A Sensing type but I hate detailed work like Accounting which I studied in college. Much prefer counseling my friends. must be INFJ intead.
I took several tests and still got infj. Not sure why many of the comments I've read were negative towards the isfj's in general. IQ has nothing to do with personality types.
Who knew the rarest type and the most common type were so close?
It’s very interesting. It’s like they are fraternal twin personalities. Both are caring, perfectionists, and planners but one likes to plan for the present while the other plans for the future. Sounds like those personalities would make a great couple. I feel like a mix of the two.

@@dante7817 I see that you didn't get an answer to your question, "I never lean towards ISFJ, what's that like for you?"
I'm an ISFJ, but here's what I think:
First of all, each type is made up of the same components (Sensing, iNtuition, Thinking, & Feeling) and have a mix of Introverted and Extroverted ways of expressing those components. Some are stronger and more natural for us than others, but each of us have at least a tiny bit of all of them. We see this in our Function Stack.
We can also develop traits that aren't our natural tendencies.
When we need or want to do something that doesn't come naturally to us, we can still use those less dominant functions.
For example:
1. When cooking a recipe that requires precise measurements and exact temperatures and timing, an INFJ can pay attention to all the specific details and instructions of the recipe.
2. Or if someone you love is sick, you can lean into your nurturing side to take care of them.

Biggest strength of INFJ 5:30
I suppose this stems from their love and awe for the layers & complexity of the human condition. They know instinctually that externalised reactions & emotional conditions are just manifestations of a deeper issue.
This is why many INFJs stay locked in narcissistic abuse. They can see the narcissist's hurt. But nobody can help the narcissist. And the INFJ must realise this before they can consciously decide to leave.
runninginsept yes!!! And no one understands this but we INFJs....
Absolutely, we see the red flags loud and clear but we choose to ignore them because we believe they are good people at their core personality..
In online MBTI tests I always get divided scores between ISFJ and INFJ but on this video, it clearly seems that I'm INFJ
I rest as both and see myself in both. How's that for screwed up!?
I've gotten both as well. But the video makes me feel like I'm more of isfj
@@tracytasticbitchcakes I am a cross between infj and isfj. That's not screwed up we are double the genius
@@tracytasticbitchcakes Actually you can't be both. Fi you're ni-dom you can't be si-dom.
This has helped me clear up my type thanks!
I love it! That's great. Thanks for sharing, Sharon! You're welcome!
INFP here dating an Isfj. I feel safe but also insecure because he is quite most of the time and I make sure that I won't forget to appreciate everything he do
Before the video:
Are you an INFJ or a ISFJ?
Me: I don't know.
After the video:
Are you an INFJ or a ISFJ?
Me: Yes! Yes I am.
I’m an ISFJ and my friend is an INFJ, we’re extremely similar people and sometimes we get each other’s types confused because we’re so similar
I feel like I’m truly between the two! I can take a little from each category to complete one personality! I truly feel that I have a little bit of both I think I lean a little bit towards insj, but feel very much connected to the INFJ as well
really needed this caz i'm here battling between choosing a INFJ or ISFJ i think i'm both ..
me too!
Same here.
probably ISFJ with enneagram number 5
Me too
Other Honestly, I agree. This'll sound silly, but I am an actual INFJ, here to start learning about Sensing types. People get mistyped all the time, and I was actually mistyped at first, as an INFP. But, as Frank James says, the way you can more effectively know what type you are is your weaknesses and fears, not your strengths.
I mostly related to INFJ but there was little things that I disagreed with.
there were some things I strongly related to the ISFJ
I still dont know which one I am 😁💧💧😂 send help lol

Keokeyokae it’s not hard to tell you must be Isfj if your can’t tell
Free test

You have to be really honest.
I just do not understand why I am an INFJ when nobody's stimulating my conscious mind to react and suddenly act in an ISFJ personality when dealing with people or responding to them.
that's your Fe not you changing types
Yeah That’s called Fe you’re deffinately INFJ
Definitely INFJ
Thank you for your videos. They help me tremendously in accepting who I am.
Being an INFJ (and being in minority and not understood by many people) makes it hard sometimes to be "plugged in" into this world. Your videos help me realize that this is simply because of who I am, and that it is ok to be me and different. And that in return, helps and encourages me to get involved in the world around me, and not hide away in my own world ( which I assume is a challenge for a lot of INFJs).
Teodora Ghita
Hi Teodora. Thanks. And, yes I have already. I've watched some of his videos as well.
Thanks for being willing to help and suggesting Scott in any case.
My dad and I . He don’t always understand my point of view. But he is caring in the physical realm.
My wife is isfj and I am Infj and this is right on the money.
Awesome, David! Thanks for sharing.
I “grew up” from an INFJ into an ISFJ. 🙃
I’ve always scored close on that category, but in my 20s, when I first took this, I scored as an N.
@Edowin
I get your points, but i think I've been misunderstood and I apologize if i didn't make myself clear.
This is exactly me. I’ve been trying to figure this out but I think mine just balance out like yours. Do u know you’re enneagram type? Mine is 9
I’m an INFJ, and I really respect ISFJ’s, to be honest…!
This whole “one or the other, no nuances for you” shit is messing me up...
omg you really helped me determine that I'm an INFJ, not an ISFJ!
Omg same
@@hanaaprrr4401 Update; as I've got older, I type more INFJ.
I am an ISFJ and I strongly agree with whatever u said...being creative is not my thing...I have said that so many times that everyone knows I am not at all good in art...it bothered me a lot bcz my mom, brother and dad all are quite creative but I have started accepting it now...and thinking about the past and the details of what happened even 10 yrs ago or maybe 4 hrs ago..it can be anything...mind gets stuck in a loop...when I talk to others who were maybe in my class and someone who mattered to me (bcz I don't remember faces that much) in that case many times I surprise even myself that I remember the details bcz I hadn't consciously paid attention to remember that
2:46 Spot on! haha..when im alone, I love going down the memory lane, mesmerizing the good ol' times and being sentimental about it.
I can relate!
One of my best friends is an ISFJ. I thought I was an ISFJ for a long time. This is very helpful!
Awesome! Glad to hear it, P. :-)
As we age, I think INFJ and ISFJ personalities can merge with broader perspectives; perhaps age is important for growth..
Thank you for this video! I'm an infj and everything was quite accurate for me.
Sure thing!
Thanks for the vid!
I'm an perfectionist ISFJ and I love scrapbooking 🙌
Perfect photo, perfect scheme, perfect angle, perfect memory!
1st time I took the mbti test i got ISFJ and just now I got INFJ. That why I search this kind of video😂
Very accurate! I'm INFJ, my husband is ISFJ, and you have described both of us very well! Thank you!
Awesome!
Confirmed, I am an ISFJ.
I don't think about the future AT ALL.
Okay I am definitely an INFJ all 4 points are pointing at INFJ
I took a second test somewhere else and it came out as ISFJ and it made me confused but I’m glad to get some reassurance
You're an INFJ
Probably.
i used to be stuck between isfj and infj because i always thought that i remember a lot of small details from the past when in fact i remember more of the meanings behind the actions instead of the actions themselves
omg yes, same! I really find both types relatable, but I think I'm an INFJ.
personally it seems like sensors are better at being intuitive than intuitives are at sensing
I think one of the obvious distinctions is that ISFJs are generally more practical in their approach to life. INFJs are probably more prone to procrastination.
Completely agree. Perfectionism/overthinking is an Achilles heel to the INFJ.
"... the details of life is the challenge... for the INFJ." Yeah... it's me... Another sign that I might be an INFJ.
it was easy to understand .. great job
okey ı am isfj i always think about my past memories and conversations, thinking about future without worrying is impossible for me
So helpful this is my friend and I (INFJ vs ISFJ)
The clip was a home run!
I could be both, but always test out as INFJ-A.
I gotta tell you, when you mentioned unplanned things upsetting INFJ, BINGO brother!
Example:When I budget time to mow and the mower either doesn't start or it quits before I am finished, it upsets me greatly. But I adjust, reshuffle action items, and go on. The wierd part comes next:
Do I care if the grass gets high?
Im amazed how well organized he is and he helps me out a lot :D
I give him a 24/7 philosophy and psychology course and he really does make use of it. im so proude of him when he can contribute with the knowlegde somewhere else :D
Now i am very very much sure i am an INFJ. 😂 I compare myself to INFP too but really i am INFJ. My sis is an ISFJ that's prolly why we are good to each other and we understand each other on a deeper level. Thank you! ❤
Super good description. Ive always wondered about the dominant functions.
Glad you found it helpful, Ryan. :-)
I was an infj before and now i am an isfj. So cool.
XD
yeaaa i realized that i like to travel a lot but i dont like the details of traveling LOL like if something small goes wrong it kills everything about the big picture of what the trip was supposed to be hahah
Hi! I'm an INFJ, and when you started on that list of Se things that would overwhelm us, I started breathing faster and feeling overwhelmed. :D LOL
Ugh, when he got to "getting the oil changed," I was like STOP IT! 🥴 It has gotten better, though, as the years go by and I surrender a bit more to this "reality" thing.
always INFJ just curious whats the difference with only 1 letter difference. thx for the video
i used to think i was an infj but ive taken a test and watched this video and im definitely isfj
Annnnnd I still can’t tell which one I am
asi člověk 😀
Super helpful! I am an ISFJ 💪
What if I relate to many aspects of INFJ & ISFJ?
Then I guess you are an in between. I have the same thing.
This is helpful to understanding self
I'm INFJ and my wife is ISFJ.... 💓 (it took me an hour to click on comment) 🤣🤔
As an INFJ , I'm nothing like the ISFJ . Too much conflict into my daily life can bring me down to my needs . " G-d really hates me ."
Took a least 3 different free tests... generally ending up with either INFJ or ISFJ...but the last one I took I tried to answer as truthfully as possible... INFJ-T. So in conclusion, 2 tests INFJ to 1 ISFJ
Thank you, after this video it's very very obvious that I'm INFJ
I'm an isfj but I can become really intuitive... 😂 IDK if I'm both..
I agree with half of your opinions on Infj tratits.
I'm defintely an INFJ... DETAILS really stressful for me...
i have took the 16 per test i come out both, doing it 2 times.
I seem to go 50/50 with N/S.
bro nice video and nice voice cracks
🤣 this guy
I'm an INFJ and my little sister is somewhere in-between an ISFJ and an ISFP
i was an infj. but people say, i'm changing and being more care to other people. then i did mbti test for the second time. and now i'm isfj. but sometimes i still feel like denial with my guardian title, lmao.
I was never so sure that i am an ISFJ.
I wish this was more helpful... the first two points make me think ISFJ but the last two make me lean INFJ. :/ I've always thought I was more INFJ but I just can't decide... Thank you for your efforts though
Yes, indeed I've just discovered I am in "fact" an infj-t, I guess that test was right after all
I like your videos. Good work man.
I
ISFJs are bottoms INFJs are not. There you go, now you can skip the video 😂
By the way ... Love the ebook 😍👍🏽
very insightful video.
You look like Adam Sandler
