Nth Imperium I am confused as to what you find wrong with my comment. It is the possessive form of 'their' as opposed to 'there' or 'they're'. I admit that I am no grammar teacher, but I am pretty sure this is correct. And in saying 'their' I am referring to the Improv Everywhere channel not TH-cam in general if that is what you thought I was thinking. Can you please explain what I did wrong in this comment?
It's amazing how a simple high five can make someone's day that much better. Look at how everyone's expression changed from miserable at the bottom of the escalator to joyful once reaching the top.
Guys, I was at JFK airport today and did this during my layover in the American airlines terminal. My sign read "free high fives" and 95% of passengers loved the experience. One passenger misread the sign and reported to security that I was offering free WiFi, so security came and questioned me. I showed them the sign and my boarding pass, and they were relieved to know it was just something harmless. They told me to cease, though. But in fifteen minutes, I received or gave over one hundred. I think this could go well if security is simply given a heads up first.
Man, I remember watching this video when I first discovered this channel. This video hits differently during the pandemic--it feels like watching a how-to video for your grandma's favorite cookies after she's been dead for a year. Heartwarming and heartbreaking all at the same time. Thank you all for everything you do!
restores your faith in humanity that so many people would actually high five a stranger just because he asked. I'd love to be on my way to work and see something like this--life is too short not to have fun.
IM SO JEALOUS! In countries like this, they all have fun with random strangers. But in my country Philippines, I will never ever experience like this ever in my entire life....
Let me tell you something, it feels great to just get a random high-five. I was recently in Japan, and right outside the Shibuya train station, there were some random teenagers giving out free hugs. I was feeling upset that day, so I gave the hug a shot and it brightened up my day.
i love the idea that improv's stunts can literally makes someones day. i know for me at least a little bit of kindness from a stranger goes a long way and these stints are just so funny and really lighten up the mood of a day!
i haven't ventured much past the mississippi river, but i thought new yorkers were cold hearted people. I love seeing all the positive reactions and how it brightens everyones day! awesome!
Look at all of the people. This made EVERYONE smile. Some giggled. Some laughed out loud. What an awesome way to start your day, making thousands of people smile. LOVE IT!! and wash your hands
What the... I'm a freaking sap. This brought tears to my eyes, knowing that something so small as a high 5 can really make people's day. You know that alot of those people went to their morning commute all nice and happy, with a good feeling to start the day Great job guys!
Man I love how the expressions go from "meh just another sucky day" to brief concern when they see the second sign (to give you) to smiles by the third sign. And then even the people NOT getting a high five were all like "man this is awesome"
I love you guys! You light up people's boring everyday life and that is something we should all appreciate. Thank you for making this world a happier place! :D
the old man holding the "a high five!" sign slowly nodding his head just made me smile :)
same;))
He was the best part. His face was like, "Yeah, you already know what's up. You know what you gotta do."

"WE FOUND ROB!!!" "WE FOUND ROB!!!"
On a cold morning five years ago this week, six actors and five pieces of cardboard made an otherwise dreary commute into something awesome.
...and then hopefully washed his hands.
***** What sucks about just brightening people's day? Sure it is not their most creative video, but I think the simplicity of it is beautiful.

Ding ding ding! Crista L'Esperance is correct -- "their" is the proper word for that usage.
It's amazing how a simple high five can make someone's day that much better. Look at how everyone's expression changed from miserable at the bottom of the escalator to joyful once reaching the top.
it's rare to see people purposefully acquiring hi-fives in public.
Very true!
I like how the man holding the sign "A HIGH FIVE!!" is just slowly nodding his head! Like say, "Yea, really! So get ready!!"
He passed away a couple of years ago
The people on the other escalator are jealous..

Timothy Hill lol free WiFi... nice attempt though! :)
Timothy Hill i wonder why can't we give free wifi at airports? 😂
Why on earth would someone report to security about “free WiFi” 😂🙄
What's wrong with free WiFi? I don't get it

All I can think is I hope he washes his hands afterwards XD
The other side is like.. goddammit.
Plot twist: the dude holding the sign with “Rob” wanted people to actually rob/pickpocket him.
I feel bad for the guy holding the sign that says ROB over his head for 45 minutes
Did that girl say 'I found Rob' ?! OMG, please tell me she was at the basketball game where Rob got lost! XD
Its so great to see that EVERYBODY was smiling by the end. even though it was just a high five c:
I think we’re all just generally good people that have been hardened by bad experiences. Tiny acts of kindness like this are needed
But the real question is, did rob wash his hands after
or before
love this for so many reasons but also because its 6 years ago
Overall this channel gives you a big smile on your face :)
Nobody is smiling at the beginning -- by the time they get to Rob, everyone is smiling. It's so small and silly but it made everyone happy. Good job!

Who would of known, that now in 2020 Rob will never get a high five.
That was fantastic!! I love this stuff..if it puts a smile on peoples lives, its worth doing.
I love how random these videos are. I think that's what makes them so unique.
Everytime I go jogging on the beach in Batumi, Georgia , I recall this flashmob

It's nice to see people smile. Especially busy New Yorkers. Improv Everywhere brings the little joys of life to random (but fellow) human beings.

Man, look at all those people who are suddenly having an awesome day. That's why I love Improv Everywhere.

That's the point of Improv Everywhere I think. Their events are imaginative, funny and harmless. It's a fantastic idea.
I love how most of them came off the escalator smiling. That is awesome.
It's amazing how much people smile at a simple high five!
